The ScoutCast – Episode 221 – Spurred

Despite reeling from shedding Son Heung-min prior to his 19-point haul, I can’t avoid acknowledging that Spurs are currently the go-to source for Fantasy talent – particularly now that Harry Kane is back in our lives.

Jonty, Andy and Az join me for this week’s ScoutCast, which transforms into a tribute to Kane’s Gameweek 33 potential, with the striker enjoying a far different appraisal to his rival across north London – Alexis Sanchez.

With three successive blanks, the Chilean is burning many a Fantasy manager, and, once again we use the airwaves to vent our frustration.

Elsewhere, on the eve of the double Gameweek announcement, we chew over the offerings on show at Palace and Southampton, before rinsing through the weekend preview, with GreenWindmill keeping score.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Monday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Hello mates! In need of some assistance! What to do with this lot?

    Randolph
    Walker-Holgate-Valencia
    Eriksen-Alli-King-Sanchez-JWP
    Lukaku(C)-Ibrahimovic

    Heaton-Yoshida-Barnes-chambers

    1FT-1,2ITB

Plan is to go Luk+a spurs player (guessing Walker) to Kane+a def like azpilcueta or somerhing next week, does that sound ok?

Gibson or a palace defender, not Sakho though as he can't play against Liverpool in Dgw 34.
Ward most nailed but i took a punt on PVA. Back in training now.
Not as certain to start as Joel Ward but more goal threat though.
          Gl whatever u do

Think my moves boil down to

    A) Eriksen Barnes Kun Lukaku (c) / Fletcher Eriksen Barnes
    OR
    B) Zaha Benteke Kane (c) Lukakau / Townsendx2 Zahax2 Bentekex2 -12

What would you do with this lot?

    Heaton - Jakupovic
    Alonso - Valencia - Brunt - Yoshida - Amat
    Alli - Sane - Sigurdsson - King - Carroll
    Aguero - Costa - Lukaku

    1FT, 3.8 ITB

    A) Carroll --> Zaha (play AOA? I still have all the other chips anyway so might as well use it)

    B) Costa --> Benteke

    C) Other

P.S. Not getting Kane yet - waiting until he has 60+ minutes in a match under his belt and hits form.

    Jak 4.0
    Alonso Valencia Davies Brunt Naughton

Best Kane route seems to be Eriksen->4.2 Carroll->Kane, look a good move?

If you still have a wildcard to play, why are some dropping Sanchez for the likes of Zaha now?.. Unless you want to avoid a drop.

Bank the FT. Keep Sanchez for the Boro game and do the Zaha transfer in between 33-34. I just feel this time of year people lose sense. Sanchez vs Boro would be captain material this week if not for Kane and Lukaku.

Very risky getting in injured players, no way of knowing if Fabio or Friend are in contention to start or not, or Chambers for that matter.

Townsend over Zaha? Could be a nice differential

    Jak 4.0
    Alonso Valencia Davies Brunt Naughton
    Sanchez Eriksen Alli Siggy Zaha
    Ibra Lukaku Carroll
    0.1itb 2FT

    A) Carroll, Eriksen and Brunt -> Kane, 4.2 and Barragan (-4)
    B) Ibra and Davies -> Kane and Gibson. (Siggy->Townsend and Lukaku->Ibra -4 next week)

    Thanks all

Wow. I don't like losing Eriksen. I also don't like selling Ibra only to get him back for a -4.

Go without Kane for a week? 😉

I don't like going without Kane 🙁 If I don't get him in this week there's no point getting him in till I WC which I really don't like

Yeah fair enough. To be honest out of those options I would downgrade Sanchez for a DGWer (say Townsend?), save the other transfer, and then use them next week for Davies to Boro defender and Carroll to Kane.

What you're saying I'll do is what I've suggested but I'm doing it this week for the Bournemouth fixture 😛 I think I'm leaning towards to juggling Ibra about

Fair enough! Personally I don't think Kane will make up the extra 4 points (even against Bournemouth) in what's likely to be restricted time - I hope I'm not proven wrong (I'm not getting him in) but good luck!

i somehow think you'll be proven massively wrong on that, Kane will almost definitely be bracing against Bournemouth, and 70 mins is even enough to do that.

Dont think you need kane. Im facing the same issue as you too. having 3 spurs players already. i think 3 spurs players is enough!
