Excess baggage checked in, deckchairs reserved and sun block applied – the Scoutcast team are all ready to hit the beach.

Smack in the middle of Gameweek 37, with points flowing from all angles, not even Hal Robson Kanu’s late goal can upset the pre-vacation mood.

Stringing five men across the midfield, Luke and Az join Jonty, Andy and myself for a bumper end of season episode as we tackle another volley of questions from you, the community.

We conduct a post-mortem on the flurry of chips, weigh up the Gameweek 38 punts, put together our final day Wildcard XI and take a look back on our own personal highs and lows of a topsy-turvy season.

After 128 minutes of that lot and sunstroke already setting in, we even forget to chat captains and transfers come the end, only to make amends later.

      I'm in a similar situation. Besides missing his penalty I think he was good and Stoke will most likely concede. They could also keep a cs so either way Giroud would at a minimum have to score one goal at least just to brake even

    So after a good few weeks I have gone from 100 points behind in my cash league to within 5! What captain would you go with?

    I have Kane, he doesn't. My assumption is that if he doesn't take a hit to bring in Kane, he will go Jesus.

    Do I go Jesus and hope my other players out score him or go in with Kane?

    is there any non kane owner?

    is it okay to take -8 for kane?
    i already have 3 spurs (eriksen,alli,bdavies, and i wanna rid of alli)
    i'm leading 6 points with my rival, but he also would take -4 to get kane

      Kane does play for a much better team so that obviously helps, that being said the difference is that Kane turns up in bigger matches.

      Ya, he got taken off because Poch knew his instincts would be to get his 1st hat trick and they would rather see Kane get the golden boot I feel.

      He assisted the 1st goal for Kane, that was unlike him, so the team are obviously looking to help Kane.

      Maybe they will help him to 30 PL goals in the next game. It's definitely what they'll be thinking.

        That assist was also helped by Poch, Kane and Alli going mental at him for blazing over with a square pass tap-in available moments earlier.

        So the intention looks that way.

        Eriksen rested for a Sissoko run out, think it should be a straight swap back in for final game. Wanyama and Dembele were immense in CM.

            Actually no, I'm wrong, even though I watched the game. Seemed like a 3-4-2-1. Davies and Sissoko were the wide men. It was so attacking at times, I got confused 😉

      Cabs won't get a cleen sheet, so that's one transfer. No Pool, who needs to score, could hurt you, so that's another transfer. How's your cash balance?

        They looked extremely nervous, making a lot of errors uncharacteristic of Silva's tenure, similar to their match against Sunderland. Might bring a much improved performance with the pressure off

    I already have Sanchez too.

    Really don't know what to do, my team have been good for weeks, but now I'm stuck with a low TV and bad fixtures for the last day. Tight lead to defend in my MLs.

    Get Coutinho in but would probably need a hit and downgrading someone, or get rid of Alli:
    A) Son/Tadic + Gabbi -> Coutinho + Barnes/Ayew
    B) Son + Tadic -> Coutinho + £5.6m
    C) Alli -> Coutinho
    D) Something else

    How secure is the reasoning behind shifting Alli to Coutinho? Allowing for news I was all set on using Haz as the fall guy.
    Vert/Yoshi to Matip is the reserve plan.

      Wait and see why Poch says. They asked him earlier in the season and Kane each 30 goals. I think they'll they'll try and get him there on the next game.
