Dugout Discussion – Everton vs Arsenal

Sunday’s action gets underway at Goodison Park as Everton and Arsenal go head-to-head in the 1.30pm kick-off.

The Gunners seek a fifth clean sheet in six as they attempt to bounce back from last week’s late capitulation at Watford.

Arsene Wenger recalls both Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey, who both missed out through injury at Vicarage Road.

Sitting in just 2% of FPL squads, Sanchez has suffered a hugely underwhelming start to the season and has mustered just two assists, though both have arrived in his last two appearances.

Mesut Ozil is handed a first start since Gameweek 5, while Alexandre Lacazette is the most captained player for Sunday’s early encounter – over 143,000 have handed the Frenchman the armband, though all four of his league strikes have arrived at the Emirates so far.

Everton’s disastrous start to the season has ensured that most of us have steered well clear of their main men.

Gylfi Sigurdsson and Wayne Rooney remain their likeliest source of points, though Dominic Calvert-Lewin is worth monitoring as a budget frontman.

Priced at 5.0, the youngster starts for the fourth successive Gameweek and may yet prove a viable option if the Toffees can find their form ahead of clashes against Leicester, Watford, Palace, Southampton, West Ham and Huddersfield in the next six.

If Calvert Lewin played for United, he'd get so much hype right now.

All Koeman needed to say at half time was: 'Get the job done or Moyes will be here in the morning'

They would be 4-1 up by now and not 1-2 down.

Looking to get rid of Clark, if ever there was a week to take a hit for a def it's when two of your defs have tough fixtures and one of those with tough fixtures is an injury doubt. Better chance of a clean sheet

    A) Moreno at home to Huddersfield
    B) Duffy at home to Southampton

Got value on Jones so can take a drop plus it looks like he only has a minor injury so defo keeping if that's the case, Clark needs to go asap though

Keep him for at least another week, I heard he should've scored plus mahrez being seemingly on it should lead to more chances

Got to disagree with you I'm afraid.
You need to plan for tomorrow, and Arsenal haven't.
Wenger suggests players running down contracts is the new normal, but no other clubs allow it to happen.

Letting Ozil score a headed goal and Monreal getting a goal should mean an automatic contract termination for the center backs
