Should FPL managers sign Ross Barkley for Gameweek 11?

Ross Barkley‘s (£5.8m) 17-point haul against Burnley has already made him the top transfer target ahead of Gameweek 11.

At the time of writing, he has been signed by 173,000+ managers as Chelsea prepare to host Crystal Palace.

    I'm very tempted to do Maddison->Barkley.
    LEI may have nice fixtures but they don't convince they can make the most of them.
    They had the possession vs 10 man WestHam but still couldn't.
    Adding the tragic event to the mix, I think they won't be focused enough to go big, FPL-wise.
    In Barkley's favour, Chelsea have 3 easy home fixtures in the next 4, and Sarri seems to prefer playing him against weaker sides.

    Which one sound better??

    1. Hart Trippier to Button Mendy, means keeping TAA
    2. TAA Trippier to Balbuena(Or other) Mendy, means keeping Hart and having no Pool def = also means benching problem 😉

    Can we have a respectful and sensitive discussion please about the Leicester/Cardiff game.

    With so many of us holding Maddison, Vardy, Maguire etc. What effect do we think it will have on the game?

    Increased motivation to win to "honour"?
    Just going through the motions?
    Cardiff not wanting to win and be seen to take advantage of a dreadful situation?

    0-0 draw feels likely.

      In theory they are professionals and playing football is their job. They should all be doing their best on both sides.

      In saying that, I see Leicester having extra motivation and Cardiff will find it harder to play I’d imagine.

      It's a weird situation.
      I think it's not the best moment to own Leicester players, since we don't know how they'll react to what happened.
      As a Maddison and Chilwell owner, I feel like ditching both, in order to get players who won't have such a tragic event in their minds.

      Leicester aren't playing great anyway. I am going to hold maddison for this one and reassess
      If they can't put a couple past Cardiff and Barkley starts again, maddison to Barkley will be next weeks big thing

      Thinking further about it, I think it's probably harder on Cardiff (for the 90minute period) you can't be seen to be taking advantage of the tragedy. Hence I think Cardiff will be going for the draw and set up very defensively.
