How Richarlison has adapted to centre-forward role at Everton

Richarlison (£6.9m) has made a mockery of recent suggestions that he cannot play as a centre-forward for Everton.

Two weeks ago we compared his first two performances in that position against his displays as a left attacking midfielder and discovered some discouraging results.

However, it appears both Richarlison and his manager Marco Silva were spurred on by the criticism. They stuck to their guns and persisted with the new role, and in the last two Gameweeks the Brazilian has registered two goals and an assist, averaging 10 points per game.

    I'm happy to hear criticism and to discuss why the stance on Richarlison has changed, but everyone should be cautious about how they criticize.

    Calling the writers names isn't acceptable and complaining about the state of the site should be done in a measured way, with a goal to help improvement in the future.

    If you disagree with an assessment that is certainly something that should be talked about, and I'm happy to make it a Hot Topic if written appropriately, but name calling won't be tolerated

        There was a fair bit of abuse this weekend, directed at both users and staff. It was mostly stuff that no one should be surprised is removed (content I won't repeat here, for obvious reasons), and a few people needed to know we were watching closely.
