      I have not heard any Bilva news but looks like a non starter. Haz should be fine.
      But you could have 2 * 6 point defenders on the bench to come in. I would leave and go for 2 FT next week.
      Bilva is close to a drop so maybe lose him straight after Friday game if not wanting to keep him and to avoid a price drop.

        haha no. I haven't taken a hit this year yet. been going up and down within 10k for the last 2-3 gws. so was hoping to take my first hit of the season just to spice things up.
        This Deulofeu guy in my team has to go. was planning to jump on Alli a week before as a differential.

    I think the city rotation will go like this:
    To play -
    Bourn (H) Sane, Mahrez
    Wat (A) Sane, Sterling
    Chelsea (A) Sterling, Mahrez
    Everton (H) Sane, Sterling
    Palace (H) Sane, Sterling/Mahrez

    Pep loves to start Mahrez in the big games, he started all of Ars (A), Liv (A), Tot (A), United (H). Sane the one to miss out every time being sub in all of them.

    He also starts Sterling in these games and plays him as much as possible other than against teams who are likely to sit deep at the Etihad like Huddersfield and Burnley where he prefers players who keep the ball and are more 'technical' like Mahrez, Sane and Bilva (who played RWB against Hudd).

    The question I'd be asking when choosing Sterling or Sane (or even Mahrez) for this week, is are Boutnouth going to attack City or sit deep and try to grab a point/keep the score down?

    If you (Pep) thinks they will attack City then Sterling plays and hauls, if not then I reckon he sits on the bench and watches Mahrez, Dilva and Bilva switch the ball between them, trying to move them side to side to crest a chink of light, moat likely for Sane to get in behind.

      Sane didn’t start when Mendy was available, now Mendy is injured Sane more likely to start ... so that sort of throws out a lot of your theory

        Yea, that's true but I think the point remains that Sterling has a very good chance of being benched this week although he'll probably play the most of the three over the whole season. Worth thinking about when discussing the team that will line up this week. Also makes a more compelling case to get Sane perhaps? I have neither, but will get Sterling for Hazard next week I think... If I can still afford him!

      Interesting analysis. The idea that you can predict who will play based on past games this season is not entirely foolproof. Mendy's injury changes things, as mentioned above. I think one clue is to look at opposing team's formation. Will offer more thoughts below.

      Fraser & Wilson have been involved in 22 goals so far and if Bournemouth score there is a good chance one of them will be involved in the goal.

      So if Bournemouth sneak a goal you will lose your clean sheets and bench the attacking points ?

      But before that you would have watched a dire Wolves lose 1-0 screaming at the TV that Jiménez couldn’t hit a cow’s arse with a banjo 😉

      Depends on where you are in ML. If you are ahead, I'd do B. If not, and you want to play it safe, just do A. I have 8 of your same players. Am thinking of doing Salah to Hazard and Ozil to Sane.

      When Bournemouth played Chelsea away from home (only other top 6 side they've faced away from home this season), they lined up in a 3-4-3. They lost 2-0. Chelsea played a 4-3-3 and Hazard and Pedro (subbed for Willian), both wide players, scored.

      When Bournemouth faced Man U and Arsenal at home, they lined up in a 4-4-1-1 and a 4-4-2, respectively. They lost 2-1 both times.

      Lyon lined up in a 3-4-3 this week against City and caught City's defense napping. I doubt Bournemouth will do the same. Bournemouth's 3-4-3 can become a back 5, similar to the formation Newcastle played against City away from home. City won 2-1, with Sterling getting a goal from the wing. I'm betting on Sane to play, and score, and Sterling / Mahrez to score as well.

        I'd agree with this. Sane in. Question is, does Pep start Mahrez or Sterling with him? With Sterling nailed to started Chelsea (A), I think this is his best chance of a rest or Palace (H) in a few weeks. Very hard to predict Pep as we all know though!

        I have confidence in Haz because even if he doesn't play, I have a sub that'll play. I don't really see a better replacement right now for him anyway.

        You said keep my FT, but I can't do that. I have already 2, so if I make no transfers, I lose one. I was looking for suggestions how to use it.

            I don't think Kenedy is really worth spending an extra 0.5 on to be honest. both Hojbjerg and Obiang are just as good... both are used only for benching. If Kenedy actually seemed to have some attacking threat, then maybe, but it doesn't look like it from what I've found.
