Aguero and Sané start for Man City as Sterling benched

Fantasy managers who put faith in Sergio Aguero (£11.4m) could be in for one of their most memorable Gameweeks.

The Manchester City forward has defied ‘Pep Roulette’ to start both matches of Double Gameweek 25, named on the team sheet to face Everton on Wednesday night.

The start comes after scoring 17 points in Sunday afternoon’s 3-1 win over Arsenal, in which Aguero scored a hat-trick.

Once again, we should expect a great divide between managers, depending which Manchester City options they backed.

Leroy Sané (£9.8m) comes back into the side after remaining an unused substitute at the weekend, but Raheem Sterling (£11.3m) travels in the opposite direction.

Kevin de Bruyne (£9.7m) is also named among the subsitutes.

Anyone invested in Aymeric Laporte (£5.9m) will be encouraged to know that he has been deployed at left-back.

However, Pep Guardiola is not the only Premier League manager wreaking havoc with Fantasy teams, as Everton have also rotated for this fixture.

The Toffees two most popular Fantasy midfielders Richarlison (£6.8m) and Gylfi Sigurdsson (£7.4m) both find themselves on the bench as Marco Silva goes for a 4-3-3 system.

Everton XI: Pickford; Digne, Zouma, Keane, Kenny; Davies, Gueye, A Gomes; Bernard, Calvert-Lewin, Walcott.

Man City XI: Ederson; Laporte, Otamendi, Stones, Walker; D Silva, Gundogan, Fernandinho; Sané, Aguero, B Silva.

      Laporte had a ridiculous score this week. I couldn't see a CS with Arsenal(H) and Everton(A) - maybe the Everton away game, but there was no guarantee he would play both. To score a goal, assist and a CS, was very fortunate.

          It's not crazy logic. I was 50/50 buying Sterling or Hazard 2 weeks ago and posted loads of times if I changed C of Salah Aguero was the pick then got swayed by Sane vs Lichensteiner talk

    So my team is currently:

    Fabianski

    Salah / Son / Pogba / Sane
    Rashford / Aguero / Rondon

    Bench: Hart / Danilo / AWB / Paterson

    Can do Sane and Rondon for Auba and £5.0 mid but now sure who? Or could just get Sane out for Mane but getting Auba in against Huddersfield seems the better choice. Any suggestions from anyone to improve the team?

    As a Sane TCer, when you think about it, the low points (or wasted TC) isnt all that bad considering that most teams who gained plenty of points are not the majority but instead are those with differentials - Kun, Laporte, Hazard etc.

        Probably stick for now. Difficult to say what happens now with Liverpool. Psychologically it’s a massive blow for them seeing City back on top. If they respond now and hang on in the title race then all 3 of Firmino, Mané and Salah are basically going to have to go on a tear IMO. Otherwise it’s curtains.

        Liverpool look very off, and if it continues then I may think of dropping Salah and keep mane on WC ..this allows good upgrades in other areas.

            If there are no clear alternatives I'd keep tbh. FPL is a relative not an absolute game.

      Almiron can be an interesting choice. More a forward than a mid but FPL towers don't seem to worry about that.
