England will never win anything playing like this.

Good counter attacking teams will exploit this system.

England were prettt good and had a lot of the ball in the final third. With a stronger starting XI the game was over by half time.

Brazil sat back and let England play knowing they could cut them open on the counter attack.

France did the same thing in the WC. Defended deep and set up Mbappe for the counter.

All this DGW and chip strategy is giving me a headache! Reading all the comments jumbles my brain 😀 can someone help make it simple for me and recommend the best strategy.

WC + BB in tact, FH used.

Have basically dead ended my team with multiple flags and a horrific defense! Would you WC this lot?

    Areola / Dubs
    Doughty* / Gab* / Reggy* / Zabarnyi / Taylor
    KDB* / Saka* / Foden / Palmer / Gross
    Haaland / Watkins / Solanke

Beat to just WC this week and stack up on the DGW34 players?

You could dead end into 34. WC35. BB37. Can you afford KDB to Salah?

I always regret watching England friendlies.

Feel like there's a lesson for me to learn somewhere.

Not sure EUROs will be filled with much entertainment from them either... not with Southgate as manager.

Yeah. He was good for England when he first got the job. Added some decency, unity. But, he wasn't good enough to be a Premier League manager. Wonder if we'll look back and think England didn't make the most of the talent we've had available.

England never seem to be prolific. How many of these 1-0 type matches do they have to their name? Too many.

It feels like they either win 1-0 or lose 0-1 and it's a pretty boring match.

Joe cole reckons Gomez played the Brazilian forward onside when on screen it showed he was clearly offside.
Think him and that Scott lady are poor pundits

Is it a good idea to go with 3 Spurs on a WC (Son, Madders and Udogie) if you are FH34? They have good fixtures before 34 and post 34, 3 Spurs assets is anyway essential.....I have 2 right now and thinking of doing Foden to Madders as well.

      Petrovic Verbruggen
      Gusto Dalot Udogie Ake Lascelles
      Son Salah Palmer Maddison Bruno
      Isak Haaland Muniz

With a FH34, Could run this team until GW37 and do Salah + Muniz to KDB + Hojlund.

My plan is to hold Saka up to GW32, then doing the switch to Foden in 33.
