Yahoo Focus – Gameweek 26

Our partner game Yahoo are offering another big-money contest for Fantasy managers this weekend.

They are rolling out a Premier League £2.5k Saturday contest which takes in all six matches from 3pm onwards tomorrow, finishing with the 5.30pm encounter between Arsenal and Everton at the Emirates Stadium.

The contest is guaranteed to run, costs £5 to enter and is a multi-entry game, which means you can select up to five teams. The top 125 places pay out – there’s a minimum win-back of £10, with £250 going to the first place.

Driven by Opta data, the Yahoo game has a unique scoring system which is ideal for community members on the search for a Daily Fantasy Sports game.

If you’re new to Yahoo, you can sign up and claim a free £50 in credit to your account when you deposit just £5. Promo code: Fantasy50.

It’s also worth having a look over our Strategy Guide before selecting your line-ups, as this gives you a better idea of the Yahoo game and the types of players who tend to benefit.

FFS Strongest XI

David De Gea – £17
Antonio Valencia – £15
Harry Maguire – £14
Shane Duffy – £12
Paul Pogba – £24
Jordan Ibe – £15
Aaron Ramsey – £19
Mesut Ozil – £17
Alexandre Lacazette – £22
Jamie Vardy – £22
Callum Wilson – £20

We’re doubling up on the Man United defence as Jose Mourinho’s men entertain a Huddersfield Town outfit that have failed to score in nine of their last 11 on the road.

With the Red Devils producing more clean sheets (nine) and conceding fewer goals (five) in front of their own fans than any other side, David De Gea looks a likely source of points between the posts.

The Spaniard also profits from the Yahoo scoring system – keepers earn points for wins or draws and pick up double the number of points as defenders for a clean sheet.

Raiding right-back Antonio Valencia is also selected for the Terriers’ visit as United look to avenge their Gameweek 9 loss at the John Smith’s Stadium. Second only to Nemanja Matic for successful tackles (41 to 47) for Mourinho’s side, the Ecuadorian has already found the net three times, including an effort in his previous home outing against Stoke.

Harry Maguire offers strong points potential at both ends of the pitch as Leicester welcome Swansea to the King Power Stadium.

The Foxes have claimed a clean sheet in their last two home matches and now face an attack that’s ranked bottom for shots in the box (43) and efforts on target (24) on the road. Maguire, meanwhile, has scored both his league goals at home and also chipped in with four assists over the course of the campaign.

Brighton’s Shane Duffy looks a handy budget enabler for the visit of injury-hit West Ham. The Seagulls have returned three of their four home clean sheets in the last six at the Amex Stadium, keeping out Crystal Palace, Burnley and Watford in that spell.

Although he’s yet to find the net, the Irishman boasts a considerable goal threat – indeed, he is second only to Marco Alonso for efforts in the box (19 to 30) among defenders.

Man United’s Paul Pogba is one of only five top-flight players to register double-figures for both shots and key passes (12 apiece) over the last four Gameweeks.

The Frenchman has supplied four assists in that period, taking his tally to 11 for the season – only Kevin De Bruyne (13) can better that amount.

Pogba’s contribution could be key once again as the hosts welcome a Huddersfield defence that’s failed to keep a clean sheet in nine successive road trips.

Jordan Ibe provides a budget-friendly route into a Bournemouth attack that put three goals past Chelsea in midweek.

That win at Stamford Bridge took the Cherries’ unbeaten run to six matches ahead of a home encounter with a Stoke defence that have conceded more away goals (30) than any side.

Ibe has been instrumental in that recent improvement. From Gameweek 20 onwards, he is ranked third overall for shots on target (nine) and fifth for total attempts (22), and has produced more successful crosses (10) and key passes (12) than any team-mate.

We’re bringing in a trio of Arsenal assets for a home match with Everton.

The Gunners are second only to Man City for home goals (31 to 45) and will entertain a Toffees defence that’s managed just two clean sheets away from home all season.

Back on the teamsheet for the first time since Gameweek 16 in midweek, the fit-again Aaron Ramsey was one of Arsenal’s most consistent players prior to injury.

The Welshman bagged two goals and six assists in eight appearances before being ruled out and, despite that time on the sidelines, is placed second for both shots in the box (29) and efforts on target (17) for Arsene Wenger’s men.

With two goals and a pair of assists over his last six matches, Mesut Ozil looks a snip at just £17 in Yahoo this weekend.

During that period, only Christian Eriksen has created more chances (21 to 20) than the German international, while his tally of 449 successful passes is placed fifth.

We were ready to bring in Pierre Emerick Aubameyang for the Toffees’ visit but the new boy may only be fit for the bench after coming down with illness.

With that in mind, Alexandre Lacazette looks set to lead the line against Sam Allardyce’s side tomorrow. The Frenchman clearly favours home comforts – seven of his nine league goals (and both his assists) have arrived at the Emirates.

Lacazette has fired 20 shots on target in front of his own fans – that’s level with Sergio Aguero and runner-up to Harry Kane’s 38 so far

Goals in three of his last four league outings bring Jamie Vardy into contention for Leicester’s home encounter with Swansea.

The Welsh side have conceded in each of their last nine on the road and have struggled for resilience away from home – they sit in the bottom three for both shots in the box conceded (123) and efforts on target against (66).

Four goals and two assists in the last six Gameweeks earns Callum Wilson a place up front for Bournemouth’s home encounter with Stoke.

The Cherries’ frontman fares very well against his fellow forwards during that stretch – only Sergio Aguero and Harry Kane can better his totals of 17 shots, 13 efforts in the box and nine attempts on target.

As Yahoo allows late swaps up until each kick-off, our listed line-up may well be subject to change.

The Weekend Contests

As well as the Premier League £2.5k Saturday contest, Yahoo are also offering a Premier League £1k Sunday contest.

Taking in the final three matches of the Gameweek, this gets underway at 2.15pm on Sunday, when Crystal Palace entertain Newcastle United and culminates on Monday night at Vicarage Road, where Watford and Chelsea go head-to-head at 8pm.

This is also guaranteed to run, costs £5 to enter and is a multi-entry game, which means you can select up to two teams. The top 50 places pay out – there’s a minimum win-back of £10, with £100 going to the first place.

You can open an account and get started immediately.

If you register and deposit £5 or more, Yahoo will also give you a £50 bonus to be used as cash to enter paid contests.

Register here to claim the bonus.

You must be over 18 years of age, resident in the UK, and of legal capacity to register with Yahoo Daily Sports and open an Account. If you sign up, please always play responsibly.

Don't like the look of that at all. Sturridge could break in half during the warmup like he usually does. Aubameyang is ill and might take time to settle (Lacazette has hardly set the world alight, amirite?). Kenedy a completely unproven quantity. Ibe has been threatening to do something for years but never does.

Nah I’m not a fan personally. Why Sturridge? Injury prone and too expensive. I wouldn’t go both KDB and Kun especially with Jesus back soon Kun will see rotation.

Or borefests 😀 It's always difficult with these fixtures, because the unlikliest of scorers often get one in derbies. I'd say Eriksen is fixture proof, because of the set-pieces though.

Right, I've narrowed down my choices...

          Captain?

          A) Kane
          B) Wilson

          Who to bench:
          - Son
          - B. Silva
          - Wilson
          - Walcott

Your thoughts would be much appreciated!

If I bench Son, I'm tempted to captain Kane....

              - If I bench Silva, I think I'll captain Sterling
              - If I bench Son, I think I'll captain Kane

Milivojevic or Kenedy as a RLC replacement?

Don't know about kenedy, but Mili's on 7 yellows with bad fixture run.

What's the best way of freeing up Sanchez funds? Both would need to start for me this week.

              A) Otamendi -> Chilwell

              B) Lingard -> Ibe
