The Big Numbers – Gameweek 35

Next, we take a look back at the post-match data in our usual members’ analysis of the previous Gameweek.

We skew our analysis towards Double Gameweek 37 assets, as Man City, Arsenal and West Ham’s attacks all feature. Meanwhile, Newcastle’s form at both ends of the pitch is also assessed prior to their favourable weekend fixture and double-header.

They REALLY need Salah to stay fit and to find some defenders before they will be able to challenge for the title.

From 5-0 they have given Roma a sniff.

But thank GOD for this Roma comeback as a Salah non-owner

Disagree. I would say 99% at 5-0; and 50/50 now but just our opinions of course.

He came off at 70 today and the game isn't until Saturday. They then have Sun/Mon/Tues to recover before a Wed. match where they have a 3-goal lead. I think he will play personally but it's definitely a coin flip.

He missed the Everton match because of a groin complaint, he's fit now.

Subbing Salah allows the opposition to worry less about defending and concentrate on attacking. Especially when he is replaced by Danny Ings, I’m sure most teams are happy to leave him unmarked.

Not tough after 5-2 and only 70 minutes. Anfield Express likely to have news, if not, he is a must hold as there are 3 rest days now until a stroll in the park against Stoke who will defend deep. He won't be physically exerted after this match or that one. Then he has 3 more days (Sun/Mon/Tues) to recover for the match in Rome where LIV will only likely need 1 goal if that.
