Watchlist Update – Sigurdsson replaces Richarlison as best Everton asset

We have concluded our Watchlist update for Gameweek 11 of Fantasy Premier League.

Midfielders and forwards are the last to be looked at after we went through goalkeepers and defenders earlier this week.

There are some big movers in both categories…

Midfielders

None of the top four midfielders has changed position in the rankings going into Gameweek 11, and there are no changes to factors either. Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) remains the best option with favourable fixtures still on the horizon for Liverpool. Eden Hazard (£11.3m) is up next but could lose his injury factor if Maurizio Sarri reveals a positive update on him today.

Raheem Sterling‘s (£11.1m) rotation threat means we can’t really put him higher than third, although he is fairly reliable when he does play, hence the A for form. Sadio Mané (£9.8m) has shown signs of being able to match Salah once again after his brace in Gameweek 10 saw him record the same round score as his Egyptian team-mate.

The biggest change to the Watchlist is the fact that Gylfi Sigurdsson (£7.4m) has now replaced Richarlison (£6.8m) as the best Everton option. The Icelandic international has outscored his colleague by 37 points to 20 since Richarlison’s return from suspension in Gameweek 6. Fantasy Football Scout members will also know that Sigurdsson has been considerably ahead both for creativity and goal threat when it comes to his underlying data.

There were slight drops for James Maddison (£7.0m) and Ryan Fraser (£6.1m), the former because of three matches without a return and the latter because of a tough upcoming run of fixtures.

Between them is new entry Ross Barkley (£5.9m) who shoots onto the Watchlist after 36 points in three Gameweeks. As we mentioned in an article earlier this week, his form looks sustainable and the Chelsea man also has some appealing fixtures too.

Anthony Martial (£7.4m) was another name that we simply could not ignore, with no midfielder recording higher form right now on the official FPL site. The Manchester United star has five goal involvements in his last three matches, accumulating 37 points in that time. The Red Devils’ upcoming fixtures are a little mixed with Manchester City and Arsenal two of their next five opponents.

Andre Schürrle (£6.0m) props up the pile with two goals in his last three matches. It’s a mixed bag looking ahead for him with favourable games against Huddersfield, Southampton and Leicester offsetting trips to Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United.

Mesut Özil (£8.4m) drops off because Arsenals fixtures have become unfavourable, and the German is too expensive to warrant inclusion in light of that. Anthony Knockaert (£5.5m) also lost his place in the Watchlist after losing his place at Brighton to Chris Hughton’s tactical decisions.

Forwards

Sergio Aguero (£11.3m) keeps his place as the top forward but has seen his form downgrade from A to B. That’s on account of just one attacking return in his last three matches, nine forwards boasting better form on the official FPL site. The fixtures remain so-so for Aguero with Manchester United and Chelsea two of their next six opponents as well as away trips to West Ham and Watford.

Marko Arnautovic (£7.0m) gets a healthy rise in spite of missing out on Gameweek 10 through illness. We expect him to be back in action very soon and his underlying statistics suggest he can take advantage of West Ham’s appealing run of matches. They place Burnley, Huddersfield, Newcastle, Cardiff and Crystal Palace between now and Gameweek 16.

Jamie Vardy (£9.0m) remains in third place but with a form tag of C, with no attacking returns since Gameweek 7. However, we cannot ignore Leicester’s appealing run of fixtures which places them second for offensive potential on our Season Ticker over the next six Gameweeks.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£10.9m) returns to the Watchlist at the expense of colleague Alexandre Lacazette. He has found the net five times in the last three matches and is the most in-form forward according to the official FPL site. Meanwhile, his French team-mate has blanked in his last two, both of which were favourable matches. The fixtures are admittedly tough for the Gunners with Liverpool, Tottenham and Man United three of their next six opponents.

Callum Wilson (£6.6m) is another forward in exceptional form with his 33 points since Gameweek 7. That is offset by some aforementioned difficult fixtures for Bournemouth. Glenn Murray (£6.6m) is just below even though Brighton’s schedule is kinder on paper. That’s because five of Murray’s goals this season have come at the Amex Stadium, with just one on the road in 2018/19.

Roberto Firmino (£9.3m) retains his place in the Watchlist to reflect the favourable fixtures on the horizon. The Brazilian actually has five goals and three assists in seven Premier League matches against next opponents Arsenal, and will face Fulham in Gameweek 12.

Harry Kane (£12.4m) continues to drop down the Watchlist with C for form and an Unfavourable Fixtures factor too. Aleksandar Mitrovic (£6.9m) is travelling in the same direction although Fulham have, on paper, a more appealing run than Spurs.

Isaac Success (£4.5m) makes an appearance at the bottom of the list for becoming a person of interest in the last two Gameweeks. He has become the only starting £4.5m striker and added a goal in Gameweek 10. Signing him will allow Fantasy managers to change formation if they want to while also keeping a high concentration of starting players.

I have 2 FT and 0.6 in the bank but no idea what transfer to make.

    Alisson
    Mendy robbo Alonso
    Hazard rich Madison preyra
    Aguero firmino Mitrovich
    Bench: Doherty Bennet Hojberg

I was thinking to do rich + firmino to mane + arnie but mane 's price went up and now I'm 0.1M short. I also realizes that firmino has great history against arsenal.
    1. Madison + firmino to mane + arnie
    2. Alisson to Ryan?
    3. Mitro to arnie? (I wouldn't do this against huddersfield but he played 90 mins yday which worries me)
    4. Something else?

    Any help is appreciated.

1 looks good but I'd also want to get rid of Mitro so maybe 3.
