Chelsea’s rout of the Villa back four generated some impressive statistics for Rafa Benitez’s men, whilst over the way in West London, Martin Jol’s Fulham are stacking up numbers on the other end of the spectrum. We take a closer look at the team statistics involved, along with a focus on the form of David Silva, Steven Pienaar and Demba Ba as we plunder the members area for the key statistics from Gameweek 18.
yea thats pritty ruff, its always worth it if you can make it into the 8-14 points from your captain. And no +24 yet sorry mate
Open Controlsget rvp or rooney into your team..
Open ControlsRooney coming in for Ba this week. Possibly as captain too. Hoping his Swansea performance was a one-off but as you can see by my captain choices, he's now likely to be rested, or play but do nothing except get a 5th yellow and a ban
Open Controlspersonally don't think rooney will be rested though..have to give credit to swansea's defense for their effort last night..very determined defending..
Open Controlsactually thought the Swansea defending was terrible, partly due to Tiendalli coming in and being awful positionally. There was some good last ditch defending, but if you're resorting to last ditch, then you've likely made a mistake before-hand.
United and Rooney were not their usual assured selves in front of goal but I think I'll still get him, as he's looked good before that and Fergie did say he needed to keep playing to maintain his form and fitnessOpen Controls
Hi guys. Rank of 789k. Bad. can i have some advice pls?
Bego-Juss
Clyne-Nelsen-Enrique-Raf-Demel
Bale-Santi-Sterling-Michu-Yaya
RVP-Berbs-Defoe
I have 3 ppl with no game this week but also want to keep them. Raf is also a prob.
Thanks in adv.Open ControlsWWhat you think about losing Michu to get hazard in?
Then pick Michu back up in 1 gameweek?Open ControlsShould I do Ba + Sess -----> Torres + Pinnar for free?
Open ControlsThanks , it's done 🙂
Open Controls
I think Pinnar got lucky on the goal this weekend. Bounced of his Shin.
But home to Wig sounds good. Chelsea home no good and newcastle away no good.Open ControlsEverton are yet to loose at home this season. No good? Attacking returns in each of his last 3 games as well.
Open ControlsI have seen them choke before to the top ten its nothing new
Open Controls
This GW will be for Baines Goal+CS week with 15 points. It's his turn to be the highest scorer of the week for this year.
Open Controlsi hope not 😀 transferred him out last gw for gibbs after having him for a long time
Open Controls
Is Piennar a good move for this GW.
Wigan at home and he looks in form.
Yaya to Piennar is what am thinking of ??Open ControlsAatish :
Did Yaya to Pienar for this GW. Is this a good move
my rest of team for this GW :
Ming
Cameron, Enrique, Shorey
Snodgrass, Mata, Pienar, Sess
Fletcher, Rooney (c), Suarez
Sub: Jask, Ridg, Walcott, Demel
Hows the team looking?
3 Green arrows and am moving up slowly.Open Controlsbeware with Rooney(C) mate. He was terrible yesterday and subbed off.
Open Controlsi saw that. One from long distance was a good strike. But should have scored from inside the box. Plus 4th yellow. I hope he can play 3 games without the 5th one
Other captain option i can have is Piennar or Fletcher.
But NC at home seems good for Rooney.Open Controls
yes but not for a hit though.
Open Controls
Good morning DZ. How are we all doing?
Open ControlsStill not reaching 1000 marks. 🙁
Open ControlsQuite lovely might I say! 😀 Jumped 160k Yourself?
Open Controls80 points. 5671 -> 1550 😎
Open Controls
Morning. Lets just say yesterday didn't go well...
Open Controlsmorning lateriser..a decent score this gw..but personally feels frustrated with man utd's draw last night 🙁
Open ControlsOne of those days Cruizer. Plus United never like doing it the easy way
Open Controls
Carzolar is my next in line if it's not for that I already made 2 free transfer , I would trade him out this week for Bale. Should I do it for another -4pts hit?? I have to worry about the FPL cup too so may be I'll wait and see who is my next fixture. lol
Open ControlsMe too. Waiting for next fixture to take a hit. 😉
Open ControlsI hope that I don't run in to any of our friends from this site too soon , I hope 🙂
Open Controls
I don't know how he managed to get a hattrick but I prefer Walcott over him and 1m less too.
So, I'm also doing Caz to Bale.Open ControlsFor me, Carzolar was a sub for Bale while he was inj so if to stick to my original plan he has to go plus he has a blank week too so the -4pts is very tempting. I'll wait and see if my rival make a crazy 2-3 transfer or not before I make another move. 🙂
Open Controls
I did Sess to Pienaar as City look good to keep a CS so +1 points for Yaya. Sunderland have some tough fixtures coming up so get rid of one of Sess/Fletcher next week.
Open ControlsThanks Aatish.
I think Sess is looking good at the moment.
Yaya would be staying deep but he is a bonus king.
Lets see last time this fixture was not good for City. Hoping the same this tooOpen Controls
Agree, I did Sess to Pienar for similar reason. Although, Sess did serve me well since I get him in the week that he get 2 digits pts.
Open ControlsI hope I don't have to regret trading him out. 😛
Open Controls
Any changes needed ? subs in right order ? Captain choice ?
enrique for C ? He just got a baby 😉
Begovic
Enrique, Nelsen, Davies, Nastasic
Yaya Toure, Michu (VC), Mata
Suarez, Tevez, Van Persie (C)
Sub: Cerny, Guthrie, Cuellar, Santi Cazorla
CheersOpen ControlsNot bad. 🙂
you seems not fancy Caz to Bale?Open Controls
Guys, quite startled atm.. have 2 options this week:
A) Play Sess, save FT -- allows me to get Walcott next week
B) Sess> Pienaar
(Also own Fletcher+Cuellar -- forced to play all 3 this week vs City!)Open Controlssave ft
Open ControlsGet rid of Fletch imo. You fancy a punt?
Open ControlsBerba for explosiveness? Benteke didnt look up for it today, but then again berbasloth has returned 7/8 blanks in a row.
Open ControlsI am a Berba fan so i'd recommend him. Upside is there. Alternatively, Jelly vs. Wigan at home is another good punt.
Open ControlsSorry. 0.3 banked, so no wiggle room to upgrade.
Is Berba worth the risk? Then would have to take a hit next week to get Walcott in..Open Controls
Gallas out for Davies. Too much rotation risk with BAE back.
Gallas/Dawson/Vert/CaulkerOpen Controls
Alreet lads. How's it going? Anyone still playing the skysports game? I've been trying for a while to find somebody on here to ask about strategy. I moved to 375 place after saturday's games, so want to make a good go of it now.
I have cazorla and arteta with no game this week. I have 18 transfers remaining. I would want at least one of them for the Newcastle game (next week). Going forward, are there any better midfield options than these two? If not, should I just stick and swallow the 2 x 0 points? Or transfer one or both of them out, to get back? My other mids are Bale, Yaya and Michu. I would probably want Fellaini back in 4 games time.Open ControlsNo clue what the rules are mate really but Mata is a good buy imo. That is all
Open ControlsHi. Im playing, ranked about 2400 with 12 transfers left. I dont have any real stategy. Sitting on Santi and Verm this week. With my lack of transfers, I need to sit on them. Are you planning Fellaini in for one of the arsenal guys after the dgw? If so, I would just take the 0 pointers this week
Open ControlsPlanning on getting Fellaini back in for the SWA game. Not sure for who though. I will check form at the time. I still have 18 transfers, so probably could get one out and back in again, but i'm not sure if it would be worth more to store transfers for later.

Captaining Rooney this GW with Piennar as VC or should i do Piennar as c and Ronney as vc
Did Rooney play that bad against SwansOpen ControlsYes, Rooney's worse performance ever in Premier League. He was not even able to complete some simple pass.
Open Controlshave to give credit to swansea's defense..rooney captain i think, he will be more determined to perform better especially against newcastle
Open ControlsWhat are your other options?
Open Controls
I had a bad defense anyway but how well will olsson get on in the weeks to come?
Open ControlsSlow movement. Will throw an RMT out there.
Begovic
Rafael Enrique Nelsen
Michu Mata Bale(vc) Sterling
RVP(c) Berbatov Suarez
McCarthy Clyne Mertsacker Walcott
2 Arsenal meaning i should just about scrape through with 11 on the field. Rafael's fitness is crucial. Transfers made.Open ControlsStrong Team. Perfect I'd say.
Open ControlsBrought in Bale i assume?
Do we think RVP will start?Open ControlsI reckon he will. Slight doubt might make me captain Bale.....or....Dimitar..
Open ControlsSAF will play Rooney and Chico? I think Rooney can be benched based on yesterday performance?
Open Controls
I wouldn't be happy playing Sterling vs the best defence in Europe (according to AVB) but great team otherwise.
Open ControlsI am happy with Suarez against Stoke Defence. I have not been watched Stoke play for some months now. This is the time to enjoy the match see why Stoke are keeping many CSs. Really hoping Suarez can destroy stoke Defence. 🙂
Open Controls
Which 2 to play from -
Cameron
Cuellar
Shorey
Fonte
?Open ControlsIs everybody here confident that RVP will start versus Newcastle?
Open ControlsI think I am going to captain him. At least if he doesn't start, then I can be happy in a real footy sense!!
Open ControlsIm not convinced.
Open ControlsI will end up captaining him. I believe 🙂
Open Controls
Finally bit the bullet and got michu in today. Better being 18 weeks late than never I guess!!
Open ControlsQuick one:
Choose 4 to play:
a)Rafael
b)Davies
c)Nelsen
d)Cameron
e)Shorey
f)PuncheonOpen ControlsRafael
Nelsen

Hey lads, I would really appreciate your opinions on this.
A) Garrido + Cazorla + Tevez --> Zabaleta + Pienaar + Ba (Would leave me with 3.4 in the bank for future transfers.)
B) Garrido + Cazorla + Tevez --> Vertonghen + Taarabt + Rooney (Would leave me with nothing in the bank.)
C) Garrido + Cazorla + Tevez --> Zabaleta + Snodgross + Rooney (Would leave me with 0.2 in the bank.)
Which one do you think would be best?
My Team:
Begovic, Mignolet,
Rafael, Garrido, Huth, Johnson, Demel
Cazorla, Sterling, Mata, Puncheon, Michu
Suarez, Tevez, DefoeOpen ControlsA) don't think Pienaar will keep form for long, Ba's goals will dry up due to lack of supply
B) Taarabt on 4 yellows + AFCON + inconsistent
C) like this best, though not sure on Norwich fixtures or Zaba rotationOpen Controlsdidn't see your user name before I replied. Nice to Michu too 🙂

My defence is a joke but always something more pressing to fix.
Thoughts for this week and next couple DZers?Open ControlsWho to downgrade to get bale then caz?
A. Suarez
B. Tevez
C. EnriqueOpen Controls
Is everyone else going to treble up on the stoke defence on the WC?
Open ControlsIs it true that Michu's booking record and slate will be wiped clean by January 1st? Otherwise, Michu in!

As it's the dead zone, took some time to look at my captain points. Made a lot of wrong choices (never owned RVP) and have been in an especially bad run in the last 4 gameweeks. Far too many low (c) scores, and not one truly exceptional score all season. Would have done better just leaving the armband on Michu all season (had him since GW1). Anyone worse than this? (doubt it)
