People want a cheap doubler I suppose, and it is a double gameweek against Blackburn and Birmingham tbh, hardly Real Madrid of the 50s.

His PPG is 5.4 and if he can get anywhere near that he'll be fine.

Ewood and St Andrews are quite the fortress these days, and Newcastle aren't exactly Barcelona 08/09.

A decent player with 2 resonable fixtures will outscore him.

Yeah I guess. I'm not buying him myself, but as a cheap option I absolutely think he's good enough value for money.

6 PPG, over 5 games without Carroll

No love from me. I'm thinking of just getting A.Young or Cahill for that 5th midfield spot. If I decide to get a DGWer it will probably be Bentley or Etherington.

I currently have 5DGW players for selection. I want more. 2 free transfers this, will make one change so I can have 2 free changes for DGW. One of those free changes will be Tevez--->RVP other is Dempsey for undecided.

For this week I need to ship out Nasri. I ideally want a DGW player or I can take a punt on Young. I am only looking until GW29 and not long term so not to keen on Young. Who is my best bet for this week who will be a gd choice for DGW27? Nolan, Bentley or Lennon, ruled of Ethers..

I am leaning to Bentley cos Brum have two home games. Dunno about likes of Walcott, possible rotation risk with Barca game in between their double. Lennon looks v tempting though..
Bentley maybe less of gamble due to home games...

But does ability increase the right of a player to be a tool? Or decrease it?

And - to be fair - maybe some of the backlash isn't Cesc's fault ... perhaps it belongs with Wenger, et al, who masqueraded Fabbycakes as some Saint-in-waiting.

Had he been presented as the newest G. Neville/Roy Keane, this stuff wouldn't really be news, would it?

Of course not, but a player with a bad attitude who graces the league with entertainment surely can't be hated more than one who is equally or more obnoxious but provides no entertainment value.

              Fair enough. [*thinking: Robbie Savage*]

Still, the "story" seems more a story to those who haven't paid much attention to Fabby over the last couple of years.

    A) vidic out odemwinge out ... tevez and someone 4.6 or less in

B)rooney out tevez in, no point hit

C)forget tevez and play brunt/ odem instead

Reluctantly A - I feel the same about Tevez for this weekend but I will keep Rooney and probably bin Torres (I can see him grabbing one v Liverpool though).

Will probably get rid of Rooney for gw27 as I will have him and Tevez upfront. Trouble is I think United will beat City but City have two juicy home fixtures after the United game 🙁

He might get an extra goal or 2 this season but with someone like Leon Best playing up top, don't expect too many assists. Only positive is maybe more BPs since Carroll used to hog them.

I don't like Newcastle's dgw fixtures but you can't have everything. Bolton at home in gw28 also looks profitable on paper.

Plus Robson tweeted to Alex Ward that she's going to catch him cos she used her wildcard. She actually did use it that week..

Everything adds up! Andy Murray following this site on his official twitter is the biggest giveaway imo.

        That's actually Andy Murray..

His brother is in his league and go onto some of his brothers leagues and Laura Robson is in one of them and another young male tennis player. Andy & Jamie Murray both also follows this site on twitter.

Someone on this site found it, can't remember who though. I remember someone mentioning that he follows this site on twitter, so I mentioned it on here and someone went and found his team.

That Jamie Delgado's a Davis Cup player as well. Still a bit befuddled with the England flag tho. Maybe he's trying to appease that masses who started greeting when he said he'd like to see anyone but England win the World Cup.

He probably just did that for publicity, he seems like a cock tbh. Doesn't he live in England anyway? Maybe he's just put it cos he lives here.

I have, without doubt, undeniably, incontrovertibly, undoubtedly, incontestably and other such adjectives that I can't quite think of at the moment just done the most boring transfer of this season or any other:

    D Murphy (3.9) OUT D Simpson (3.9) IN

I've noticed Simpson in a lot of WCs lately. What gives?

Home at Arsenal, a DGW on the road, then some OK fixtures?

Is he really just a low value place holder with upside? What is his upside?

If Foley were playing would Simpson take a back seat?
