At this time of the season we need to be careful because this is when we start to see a shift in the ladder as more experienced FPL players who got off to a bad start begin to make inroads up the ladder whereas those who got lucky start to drop down the ladder.
What I would say is don't try to be too cleaver. At this time last year I was rather chuffed with my good start so had all the confidence in the world to bring in the likes of Drenthe, Eagles and HBA. At the time it may have been a tad edgy going for the flair players and forgoing the boring Bale and Ba. Neeless to say I plummeted down the rankings and my mid season I was outside the top 300k.
So for those who are going for flair picks such as Kolarov, Dzeko and are perhaps not too keen on old stalwarts like Tevez, RVP and co, think again. This is the time when playing the game safe brings rewards. So try not to be too cleaver, it may cost you big time.Open Controls

My thinking is HBA had a good game in the derby. Ba too did well. But the sending off made the situation to change.
I dont know about Mcity as rotation players are key which Mancini would do.
I did get Mata for Bale this week on the assumption Bale would lose form and Mata is looking dangerous.
I dont have City / United cover. Rooney look stronger than RVP against stroke. So should i take lambert off for Rooney which is on form.
Or go with fixtures and do Lambert to Crouch for a 4 pt hit.
Is Bale essential so shall i get him for Pienar /Nolan.

I dont see bale as essential for the next few weeks. He is explosive though so you cant just assume bad fixtures means he wont score, he can often dot he opposite.

Open ControlsGood post. Winning this is all about consistency through the year. I love it when a few mates storm ahead in those early GMWKs and lose focus by getting cocky. I was last in my mini league for the 1st 3 GMWKs last year and ended up first from November onward. You need to always be making sure your on track to get over 2000 points. That's a good milestone to aim for as a minimum (avergae 52.6 points a GMWK - seems easy but then you have a 30 or 40 point week and that 72 pointer you got when you picked suarez as captain to norwich is cancelled out).

My original plan has been Michu => Ben arfa for weeks now, BUT not very keen to ditch Michu anymore.
Tevez to Ba was the other option, but difficult to drop him also!
And then there's chance to ditch them both, Tevez, Michu => Ba, Mata for a hit, but but but...
Actually I'm now thinking two very different approaches
a) Boring transfer a'la Fed => Begovic or Williams => S.Taylor/Boyce
b) Wild card and make room for Mata, Bego, S.Taylor(?), Ba
