Sunday delivers a double header of lip-smacking ties, as old rivals United and Liverpool clash at Old Trafford, whilst Arsenal host City in the four o’clock kick-off. With a host of big Fantasy assets on show, our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open to catch the real-time yelps and cries as events unfold.

The team news for the lunchtime kick-off finds Sir Alex Ferguson opting for the experienced pairing of Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand at the back, with Jonny Evans reportedly missing out with a hamstring problem. Elsewhere in the United lineup, Danny Welbeck is drafted in, along with Shinji Kagawa as Antonio Valencia and the rather unfortunate Javier Hernandez drop to the bench.

Visitors Liverpool make just one change: Joe Allen comes into the midfield with Jordan Henderson dropping out. Andre Wisdom again occupies the right-back role, then, with Glen Johnson deployed at left-back. Both Daniel Sturridge and the returning Fabio Borini find places on the bench.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      That's a bizarre way to look at it. As long as your captain scores more than RVP, you made the right choice. 'Only' 45% of players have him anyway...

    Been a Liverpool fan all my life and don't understand why everyone goes on about carrolls £35 million. I would pay that twice over rather than spend £15 million on joe Allen

      I don't rate either. But the Allen signing doesn't make the £35m spent on Carroll any less ridiculous.

      Joe Allen was a terrific player for Swansea last season, but he was allowed to attack. Not sure if he's totally suited to sitting back the whole game.

        This is one of the reasons I'm not convinced by people on here who are keen on Sturridge. l can't remember anyone going to Liverpool and being an instant FPL hit - but I can think of quite a few who haven't.

      Build up play is decent. For a forward he just doesn't do enough when it matters though.

    Welbeck is too wasteful with the ball. He gets in good areas and doesn't take advantage. Hernandez on for the 2nd half.

    Liverpool really are terrible. Suarez needs to get out of there asap to join a big club. Don't want to waste your career and not play at the highest level you can, like Gerrard, Shearer before him.
