Look at all the top teams and what they put out in the cups earlier in the season, Swansea don't have as good of a squad but they have European football beckoning, so what if Michu had done a Borini etc?

It's not even a question they need to answer.

They stopped that when Blackpool made the valid point that you have a 25 man squad for a reason and you're free to play whoever you want from that squad as you wish. They were right. Fining teams for playing what they feel to be a weakened side is ludicrous.

I see absolutely no reason why they should. Clubs submit a list of players who'll be eligible to play in the Premier League. Who is anyone to say which of those players should play in a given game? Frankly, it's no one else's business who they pick.

There's a week between the match with QPR and the match with Norwich, with nothing in between, if he's rested against Reading I'd be pretty hopeful he'll start against QPR.

Swansea team resting key players and with one eye on cup final next weekend clearly helped matters considerably too.

Sturridge is as good as RVP.

Agree with B. I have no basis for my opinion other than guessing, but I think Tevez/Aguero will be the first choice forward pairing for City the rest of the year.
