The ScoutCast – Episode One Hundred and Eight – Rarebit

Ryan Giggs, Tom Jones, Terry Griffiths, the guy in the Apprentice with the eyebrows. These are the legends that Wales has brought us in recent years but, come the weekend, we might just find that Fantasy football unearths another. Tonight’s final episode of the campaign is a very special one as Jonty crashes the party with a special guest – a Welshman that most of us have been looking up to all season.

We chat to the FPL title challenger in the “Full Jonty” after we discuss the perils of the final day fixtures, check in on a much improved Professor, question the transfer trading in “All Aboard” and preview Sunday’s season farewell.

Thanks to all who have listened in on this nonsense this term – here’s to another campaign in a few months and step closer to catching Last of the Summer wine.

What player have you always wanted in your team but not had?

Last season it was Taarabt, I accomplished that goal this season and what a fantastic achievement that was.

Next season I want Lukaku as a Swan.

      In the grand scheme of things Coutinho became a great shout towards the end, but take a look at Gerrard from GW17 > GW25... anyone who got on that hit the jackpot. Same could be said for Lamps from about GW18 > 26.

I've done the match of the day challenge a couple of times this season. It's good fun but somehow disappointing when the games run out and you realise you've had an average/poor GW!

It's a lot easier if you don't live in the UK (i.e. noone spoils the scores) and are away from the computer for the whole day

  I did it once this season.. running order being revealed at the start of the show is a shame as it shows where the goals are! Made me relax about not owning Michu though... Swansea 0-0 Southampton 🙂

      Agreed ... I really enjoyed it but it is difficult to do with so many news outlets these days. I found it quite refreshing though and I'll definitely be doing it again next season. Alternative is not finding out scores, Recording MOTD and watching the NUFC match on football first 🙂
