Ryan Giggs, Tom Jones, Terry Griffiths, the guy in the Apprentice with the eyebrows. These are the legends that Wales has brought us in recent years but, come the weekend, we might just find that Fantasy football unearths another. Tonight’s final episode of the campaign is a very special one as Jonty crashes the party with a special guest – a Welshman that most of us have been looking up to all season.

We chat to the FPL title challenger in the “Full Jonty” after we discuss the perils of the final day fixtures, check in on a much improved Professor, question the transfer trading in “All Aboard” and preview Sunday’s season farewell.

Thanks to all who have listened in on this nonsense this term – here’s to another campaign in a few months and step closer to catching Last of the Summer wine.

            Does the recent Adebayor revival impact Bale? In the last 7 Tottenham games, one of them has scored (4 for Bale and 3 for Adebayor), but it has been one or the other during this period, not both.

    I swear they are designed by willy wonca for the ompah lumpah's end of year staff party..

    I know Asians are on average smaller but there is no way anyone under the 5.3 can fit in those..

        The one thing I will say is that we arrived two hours ahead of schedule...
        Because the guy was speeding down a mountainous road, playing chicken with on coming trucks, still meant we arrived at 5.30am which is a perfectly reasonable time to check in to your room...

          why are you throwing away 4 points? play Dawson Ivan Zab at the back.. forget GJ and use the money on an attacking transfer.. would want to keep mata but looking at your cheapos(Hendo, Pog, McCarthy!!!) i'd prob get rid to upgrade em..               punty.. i like it!! the sad fact of being ahead though is you gotta play safe and cancel out your opponents.. Try to figure out the transfer he makes by looking at the money he spends and act accordingly.. a very safe Evans to Carragher and a 4-4-2(without a hit) may suit you actually as he looks like he's stuck playin 4-4-2 too

          everyone is showing "0" points for gw34, which i think means draws for all in the table. also, i don't know if everyone else's scores are right or not in gw36 and 37, but i noticed my scores did not properly update for gameweeks.

        I want to dump Felli to, but Nolan/coutinho are the only options.

        It would be for a -4 though and therefore it might be better to play maloney.

    Morning folks, need some help with maths 🙂

    Trying to figure out what my rival did...

    Prior to using his FT. TV - 105.9 and 0.8m ITB
    After using his FT: TV - 150.6 and 0.6m ITB

    So:
    A: He sold a player that had increased in value by 0.6m i.e. sold xxx for 7.3 after buying him at 7 (current price 7.6) and then bought someone for 7.5 thereby reducing 0.2 of funds in the bank or

    B: He sold a player that increased in value by 1m since his total team value dropped by 0.5m i.e. (105.9+0.8) to (105.6+0.6)

    Both logic sounds right so not sure 😯

      It doesn't work that easy. Just work out he spent 0.2 more than the player he sold. You need to work out the selling value of the likely player.

        if he only made one transfer, then i think it's B, with a small clarification.

        for the Bank part, he bought a player for 0.2 more than what he got for the player he sold.

        for the team value part, he lost 0.5, which means he sold a player who had gone up by 0.9 (getting 0.4 profit) or 1.0 (getting 0.5 profit).

      I have exactly the same outfield - I wouldn't lose RVP unless you are in search of differentials to catch someone.

      I wouldn't, Ade and Aguero are very much blow hot, blow cold, this season. To swap out RVP I'd be looking for someone with a good run of form with a home game and something to play for.

      Maybe leave it as late as possible and try to work out who he's brought in and take it from there.

      I've just been looking up the stats for a similar move in my Metro teams.

      Different scoring of course. Coutinho and Sturridge look hungry. Michu just looking a bit end of season to me. (Now watch the bugger get three goals). 😉

        Morning FLynnie - Like me I suppose you are looking forward to next season( to no doubt make the same FPL mistakes again!)

        I have 16pt lead in ML and are keen to lose Felli. I did Berba->Sturr for free. Worth getting Coutinho for -4, or play Maloney? Wigan I think will be "flat". I also considered Nolan, but nothing to play for.

        I own Tevez, and rival doesn't but so far me owning him has actually been in my rival's favour.

        I think my rival might take some hits and if he does I will prob do my -4 trade.

    Going crazy!!

    League 1 : 3rd place, behind 1st by 33 points.
    League 2(H2H) : 1st place, need to win to stay 1st

    What would you go for? Try for 1st in the normal league and risk the H2H league win, or stay safe and win the H2H! No money anywhere, but loads of pride!:)
