The Sunday Surgery

Filed under: Matchday Surgery - Posted by: Mark

United in procrastination and debate for the last time this season, Fantasy managers await the events of the final day, mapping out the possibilities and plotting the merits of one last gamble.

Although it seems painful, a week on from now, we’ll doubtless miss the sweaty palms as we hover over confirm button. So, with the deadline looming, let’s revel in the time that remains. Our matchday surgery chatroom is now open to cater for those who require some real-time feedback on their own particular dilemmas.

For those with more time on their hands, our weekly Scout Picks and a healthy slice of Differentials can be absorbed, along with this week’s ScoutCast, offering a unique insight into the thinking of a Fantasy manager contesting at the very top. All the team news and our predicted lineups can be found right here.

Our Dugout Discussion will fire up prior to the four o’clock kick-offs, with a final Pre-match Preamble imminent.

    1. trust yourself

      • 1 year, 6 months ago
    2. Tottenham need to win desperately. Liverpool don't.

      • 1 year, 6 months ago
      1. But with Spurs needing a win they have looked more nervous recently while with the pressure off 'pool they've looked much better.

        • 1 year, 6 months ago
    3. I'm going for Aguero instead of bale I think. Go for sturridge Bemba. Your reasoning is sound

      • 1 year, 6 months ago
    4. I've backed myself on the Sturridge captain choice after a late wobble.

      Go for it.

Also if Sturridge scores today he'll be on his most PL goals per season and he's a self obsessed player, personal achievements will mean a lot to him.

    5. Sturridge and Coutinho don't need anything more to play for than the sheer joy of developing their partnership

      • 1 year, 6 months ago
  2. a) Sturridge and Nolan

    or

    b) Hernandez and Coutinho

    Cheers :)

  5. Ah bugger it, I'm going with this:

    DDG
    Vert/Luiz/Davies
    Bale (vc)/Walcott/Nolan/Maloney
    Sturridge(c)/Tevez/RVP

    Subs: Bunn/Fellaini/Clyne/Sagna

Best of luck to you all!

    • 1 year, 6 months ago
  7. Reina
    baines dawson davies (b.jones harte)
    michu bale wally coutinho maloney
    rvp tevez (berbs)

    1) maloney >> sturridge (-4)…rival trailing me by 15 brought him in for a hit
    2) cpt bale or sturridge…leaning towards sturridge as spurs might shut up shop if leading

    • 1 year, 6 months ago
  8. My main rival has Coutinho. Should I transfer him in for Nasri to neutralise my rival or get Michu to have a differential. Four points ahead at the moment.

    • 1 year, 6 months ago

  20. Guys help!
I'm 2 points behind my rival 100 quid riding on it. We both have Bale and Sturridge, so i know he'll captain one of them. He will use his free transfer to get rid of Benteke and will have 7.4 mil in the bank

At the moment i have 1 transfer and 200k left. My team is:-
    Schwarzer (Eliot)

    Enrique Zabaleta Clyne (Shawcross, Harte)

    Bale Toure Walcott Coutinho (Maloney)

    Tevez Ba Sturridge

Any ideas on what i could do?

    • 1 year, 6 months ago
    1. Michu for Toure or Carroll for Ba

      • 1 year, 6 months ago
  21. UKG

Anyone else benching Felliani and or Baines? Feels wrong...

    Robles

    Zaba Demel vert

    Bale (vc) Coutinho Maloney Walcott

    RVP Sturridge (c) Tevez

    DDG Felliani Baines Wilson

    • 1 year, 6 months ago

      • 1 year, 6 months ago
  22. Predictions for position 3, 4,5. Il be optimistic:

    3rd: Arsenal
    4th: Chelsea
    5th: Spurs

Im really nervous though as an Arsenal fan. If we don't beat Newcastle then we don't deserve top 4. Boys better be up for it, cmon!!!
