No thrills. Few spills. Just two men in a room talking about Fantasy Football.

Granville and I handed Jonty and the “Professor” an extended pre-season and rolled the ScoutCast back to its rawest form. Just myself and the Mancunian sharing our thoughts after a summer break and looking forward to another Fantasy campaign.

We talk double Gameweek assets, I roll out the van Persie duvet, Granville reveals more than he should about his team lineup and, around all that, we assess the early bandwagons and preview the weekend fixtures.

Forty-five minutes of two blokes talking about the stuff that’s rattling around in most of our heads right now.

    First I thought that injuries would decide this for me.
    Both should be fit for Gameweek One.
    Then I figured I'd go for the person with the lowest ownership - less likelihood of price falls.
    There's 0.1 per cent between them.
    So can I put this to the vote and see other people's thoughts on this?

      I believe Shaw played more in the pre season.

      Neither will keep a CS gw 1.

      I dont think he would. They play very differing positions...Arteta is link between the banks and the forwards/mids. Rosicky plays (or attempts to play) similar role to Santi, roaming around and picking up the ball..

      A safe punt imo. Guaranteed starts, on form, did well at the end of last season, cheap, great fixtures.

        not guaranteed, Palace are a strong defensive unit not much attack in them really so they will be tough to break down and being back in the big time and infront of own fans will be right up for it. Can see it being a draw & Soldado firing blanks..

    Being a Palace fan we gonna struggle this year but hey none of us expected us to get here in the first place so by being here would be able to generate some much needed income and set us up for the future. Gonna take all that comes with a smile, can see some hammerings but banking on us to shock a few.

    We gonna struggle up top without Murray & Wilf - two reasons why we got promoted in the first place. Have not yet bought in good replacements - Thomas injured, Bolaise also injured currently, resting all goalscoring hopes on a young lad in Gayle and poaching ability of a 40yr old Phillips.

    Two to watch though: J Williams and J Campana

        Decent young player on the rise. Only thing with him is can be injury prone and also the pass before the assist. Good to see how he goes at this level...

      Look short up top mate, benteke got tough opening fixtures, Chamakh may struggle if Palace cant get ball forward and Lukaku rotation risk. Maybe try Lambert or Bony...

    What are people thinking about Walcott's knee injury? With DGW starters in my team needing to be tranferred out I don't want to take a risk that he'll not be fully fit over the first 4 GWs as it will be hard to spare a transfer for him?

    I was planning on taking Michu to replace Hazard in GW3 in time for Swansea's a trip to WBA.

    Do people think it'd be safer to take Michu from the start despite 2 tough fixtures and then if Walcott is fit take him in GW3 in place of Hazard?
