I hope you're not WC-ding just because rvp is injured. Downgrading the most expensive player is pretty easy.

I think last week was the closest he'll come to an explosion... might do that again a few times, maybe with a brace thrown in somewhere if you're really lucky.

He does have tons of potential and have been excellent this season. Will it bring Fantasy points? Tough one. Home/away form have been quite different this season.

My first comment when we signed him was that he'd be Yayaesque in FPL terms you'd want to snap him up.

He won't explode. He's a defensive mid who gets the odd goial. Very skilful and I was hoping he'd be a Yaya in the making but don't think he'll be played forward enough with the likes of Eriksen and Lamela in there now. He's a class player alright but Ramsey or Moses, if he'll be nailed-on, are better attacking mid choices for that price.

Lateriser I think both of us are in a similar position. I have 3 nonplaying players (Williams,Chester and Brayford) OTHER than Rvp and Wally. I can do RvP and Wally to Rooney and Ozil for a hit OR play my WC and do a clean sweep. We're in the same boat as it seems...

Just did my first -8 in 3 years....not pretty at all!

Three years or so ago, I daisy chained -8's while rising 500k up the rankings over a seven-week period around Xmas.

Applebonkers got quite mad with me! 😀

I think one of the things to remember is how coy Moyes is with giving out injury information. This is even more relevant when it comes to the teams' best player. It's advantageous for him to be ambiguous. E.g. if RVP starts unexpectedly the opposition may be underprepared and vice versa. My fear is that the rumblings about Moyes more intense training methods are already taking their toll on RVP and he's going to become slightly more injury prone as a result...
