The ScoutCast – Episode 117 – Hits

Not often acclaimed for his sage-like wisdom, Granville is enjoying his season in the sun and is firing advice, sympathy and jibes my way, in equal measure. With little to lose, I’ve even resorted to taking his guidance on board. After spending points on transfers on the Mancunian’s recommendation, I’m looking on my squad with optimistic eyes, although Granville is far from convinced that I made the “greatest hits”.

After raining on my revival parade, Granville joins me to talk Suarez, Oscar vs Hazard and Jim Bowen before we roll out the podcast regulars – “All Aboard”, the weekend preview and the usual dalliance with the ScoutCast team.

  Ugh your bench is redic bad. Zab has been getting rotated alot so if he doesn't play ur in really bad shape. The MF is too weak but I wouldn't wanna take any more hits. Look to get Townsend and Zab out next week

Any words of wisdom out there regarding Chelsea defence? I'm probably going to ditch Walker and Chel defender looks best fit but it does appear a bit of a lottery at the moment. Ivanovic looks most nailed on but.... any thoughts?

  ive got terry and im going to keep him. i do have faith that they will start getting clean sheets but not as often as ppl expect. i think terrys scoring potential is what is keeping him in my side atm and also the fact that he is chelseas rock in defence, when a clean sheet comes so will the bonuses.

    this is going to be a "longer term" decision....looking for an alternative (C) to Suarez in GW12 and GW16. Rooney or RVP gives that option.
    
    One other option would be

  I am Macedonian (from Greece). When my family immigrated to Canada there were no Macedonian Priests, so we brought a Bulgarian one over. (he was slavic speaking obviously). Hence "SS Cyril and Methody Macedono Bulgarian Church" was founded in Toronto Canada.

    That's incredible! Amazing. There is a Bulgarian church here in NYC as well, it shares the same name 😉 What's the name of your priests? I doubt I know him but still. Toronoto has a huge Bulgarian population. Do you have any Bulgarians in the congregation?

      Yes....lots of Bulgarians. Our current priest is Valerie Choumarov. Growing up it was Father Popov!
      
      My grandfather fought for the Bulgarian army many years ago. My last name is very Bulgarian. I am a member of the MPO (which has strong Bulgarian political connections)
      
      Unfortunately our congregation is getting smaller, our church is in a bad neighborhood and most of the Macedonian/Bulgarians have left to another church!

      yes....but without Silva, i do not fancy him to continue on his pace. United has such strong fixtures, it is tough to ignore!
      
      Even next week vs SWA, he is a close call in terms of (C) choice vs Suarez.
      
      Who would you rather give the armband to in GW12 and GW16. Aguero or Rooney?
