After a less than fulfilling Saturday, Fantasy managers will be looking to Sunday’s fare with huge expectations and the hope that today’s returns can rescue respectability.
The bill certainly looks talented enough, with Roberto Martinez’s Everton hosting Southampton and leaders Arsenal making the trip to in-form Newcastle – both those matches bristle with goals and could well offer a strong platform for the today’s four o’clock kick-offs.
Those are undoubtedly headlined by the battle of the Bridge where Luis Suarez and Liverpool face off against Chelsea in what promises to be a tumultuous affair. Whether it will bring goals and points for Suarez is another matter.
While hopes will be high for that encounter, Tottenham’s White Hart Lane clash with Stoke perhaps offers less on paper, although Tim Sherwood’s new broom could yet unearth some key Fantasy assets for 2014 with today’s clash providing an opportunity to scout out the potential on offer.
As usual, you can look to our Twitter feed for all the teamsheet updates from these matches, while our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open to take you through to the final whistles.
