Fantasy Football Scout Hall of Fame Updated

Over the last couple of days, we’ve updated both the Career Hall of Fame and the Live version for members. The Career version now includes all new additions to the Fantasy Football Scout leagues and is viewable to all via this link or the top menu “HoF” link. This table will be updated every week with new entrants.

The Hall of Fame is a ranking system which we apply to everyone in our Fantasy Premier League (FPL) mini-leagues – both the free and the members league. Essentially, it tracks the performances of every manager over each of the seasons they have participated and awards a “HoF rating” accordingly.

The “Live” version of the Hall of Fame, available to our Members, has been updated to include points earned in Gameweek 20. This will be updated with the latest rankings 24 hours after the conclusion of every Gameweek from this point on.

If you’re wondering what the Hall of Fame is all about, you can read below for a quick guide. Alternatively, you can view this movie to listen to Mark and Rate My Team’s Chris Atkinson talk you through it.

Live Hall of Fame Top 10

In the meantime, we thought we’d run the rule over those at the top following the update:

Site moderator Evs is the new number one in the Live Hall of Fame. Having finished fifth overall last year, he looks poised for yet another incredible season – he currently sits on 1,298 points, which is enough to earn him 1,846th spot overall with another 18 Gameweeks to go.

Ulrik Nylnad sits in second spot. His consistency over the past seven seasons in staggering – in six of those years, he’s finished inside the top 2,100, with his “worst” performance back in 2011/12, where he ended in 7,729th spot overall. Ulrik is currently situated around the 46,000 mark but with such an impressive history, you’d expect him to push on again.

Derek Simpson takes third spot. He ended last year in 38th position overall and has finished inside the top 4,000 in five of the last six seasons – at present, he’s just inside the 100,000 mark but has plenty time to make his mark.

In fourth, Rob Pitt has finished inside the top 1,000 in two of the last three years and is nicely poised around the 12K mark, whilst Chris Denbeigh is set for another outstanding season. He has top beaten the 2,5000 mark in six of the previous seven years and is currently situated in 2,559th spot overall.

Elsewhere in the top 10, Atiq Rahman is the highest of our featured managers in this season’s overall standings. A score of 1,304 points has helped him climb to 1,337th position – boosting his chances of finishing inside the top 5,000 for the sixth time in seven years. Pascal Evans has managed a top 1,000 finish in five of the previous seven but, currently sitting in 152,350th overall, has a task on his hands to repeat that feat.

What is the Hall of Fame?
In simple terms, this is as ranking system which can be applied to everyone in our Fantasy Premier League mini-leagues – both the free and the members league. The Hall of Fame tracks the performances of every manager over each of the seasons they have participated and awards a ranking according to the performances. We have a career table that updates every season and a live table that will be updated using the latest season data, after every Gameweek.

How is my rating calculated?
The “HoF Rating” is based on your points scores from previous FPL seasons, with the latest season weighted the heaviest and each corresponding season weighted at roughly 80% that of the previous season. So, in other words, those who performed best in 2012/13 will receive a bigger HoF Rating boost from those who did best in 2007/08. The “HoF Ranking” even allows for those with missing years, adapting the formula accordingly to allow to rank alongside the veterans of the FPL.

How do I join the Hall of Fame
Simply sign up to our leagues, either the Fantasy Football Scout Classic League (1580-1106), or if you’re a member, the Members Classic League – the code is available on the dashboard of the Members Area.

How do I find myself in the Hall of Fame?
The search box at the top of the ranking tables allows you to search by surname or by FPL id.

What if I don’t want to be listed?
Either notify us via support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk or simply leave the Fantasy Football Scout league and you’ll be removed on the next update.

When does the Hall of Fame get updated?
The Career table is available to all and is updated at the end of each season to display the latest rankings.

The Live version of the Hall of Fame is updated every week to use the latest season data. This version will only be available to our members in the Members Area. If you wish to get access to the live version, you can sign up as a member. Click here for details on upgrading your account or signing up.

I 100% believe J Rod is the man to have.

Honestly I think people are put off by his low price and would almost be more willing to own him if he was 7.5m!

Look at the stats, not how good he looks in your line-up

I have both, WC active currently.

I too, think Lallana is the better option but J Rod is necessary to have 2 from Suarez/Aguero/Rooney. Prefer him to the 7-8m options.

There are 3 versions of cricket:
20 twenty (20 over each - slog fest)
One day (50 over each - bore fest)
Test match (5 days - make sure you are doing more with your life than just watching cricket eg posting comments on a fantasy football website)
Lunch and tea breaks are for test match cricket only and break the day into 3 sessions. 90 overs are supposed to be bowled each day, but rain or bad light can reduce this

just to further complicate matters - this is untrue. There are two further mainstream forms of cricket. First Class (4 days) and pro 40 (40 overs)

With many bailing on Rooney and Lukaku, wonder if this will be the GW where the trio (LSR) all deliver together?

It's got the making of the apocalypse 😉

People not bailing on Lukaku , hes up over 6% today, while Rooney holding firm. He might be flagged later though which could mean some sales

Would they pay off his six year contract or back him to get a team playing right? Ferguson had the same problems early on don't forget.

This is what'll happen, they'll sit the players down and say "the manager isn't going anywhere, but you will if you continue to play rubbish". Moyes does need to change his tactics though, and fast.

I'm biased here , I (lifelong UFC fan) never wanted him .
          He's too negative
He couldn't beat the top 4
Now he can't beat teams around him ( WBA/newc/Everton/spurs)
I hate him , he and the Glaziers are a disaster and Saf is culpable here as well , it should never have come to this.
Simply not good enough IMO ILF , no excuses there is blame everywhere but the fans are suffering because of Stevie wonder style management at all levels.

Fair enough HVT, I certainly agree about the Glazers, buying the club with borrowed money then putting the club into huge debt to pay that off, massive salaries to the kids. Brilliant business tactics if you look at it from an outsiders point of view, getting the club to buy itself and end up earning half a billion when they sell, plus all the tens of millions pocketed before that.
Not a football soul amongst them, even Ferguson I suspect.

First attempt at a WC team, how's it looking?

    Jussi, Mannone
    Chester, Nastasic, Coleman, Koscielny, Williamson
    Yaya, Hazard, Walcott, Cabaye, £4.5m
    Suarez, Lukaku, £7.9m???

No idea who to have as 3rd striker?

Do I buy someone cheap and play 5 in mid?

most people here would say Yaya> Silva gives you more money and better returns on stats. use extra money in mid, Lallana or Eriksen insted of Cabaye.
      J Rod or Ade upfront.
      how will you get Aguero?

Hull striker George Boyd has said his team can gain inspiration from the success of Wigan and Swansea and believe his team can fight for the FA Cup.

Some Hull fans think their club is getting ahead of themselves and acting a bit too big for their boots.

One fan messaged the club's official website with this:

''You're very different since you played in the Premier League. You never used to be like this.''
