Captain Sensible – Gameweek 36

This week’s Captain Poll is a far more open affair, with players from four teams taking up the top five spots. Arsenal’s home clash with Newcastle brings in-form duo Aaron Ramsey and Lukas Podolski onto the radar, United’s first match since the dismissal of David Moyes boosts our faith in Wayne Rooney, whilst Luis Suarez and Sergio Aguero are, as always, amongst the usual suspects despite tricky weekend encounters against the Chelsea and Palace defences:

We take the top five in this week’s Captain Poll as our starting point and construct a members table based around a number of their key statistics in order to flag up any other players offering a similar sort of threat.

i think evra is a doubt this week. knee injury. atleast that's what the bpl site says.
gerrard was playing like cb last match so i think that's a prob fpl-wise.

Evra's flag has been removed so he is fine I think

Spent 8 already and been burned by gerrard before. I have Nasri on my bench. Play nasri over gerrard???

if you've spent 8 already, then don't take another hit.
          couldn't you play both?
but if you must choose the i'ld go for nasri.

Norwich fighting for survival and Lukaku's not a bad option.

    Sunderland's pts potential.

Drew against City, then won against Chelsea.

They're pumped, on form and playing Cardiff at home. Being only 3pts from safety they have one hell of a motive to smash Cardiff, especially since Norwich have a nightmarish schedule coming up. If Norwich lose to United, 3pts would launch Sunderland out of the relegation zone.

Cardiff have the motive as well, but not the form, momentum, or fixtures.

Have already made my free transfer this week but 2nd in my league and 14 points behind the leader. Need to change my team up a bit as ours are pretty similar.

My team at the moment this next game week is:

    Speroni

    Chester - Azpi - Coleman

    Puncheon - Eriksen - Gerrard - Ramsey

    Lukaku - Suarez - Ageuro

Subs: Manonne - Distin - Cahill - Mutch

Do you think it would be worth taking a -4 hit to put in a Man Utd defender in place of Distin (as he is injured) and seeing as Utd have Norwich this week and a double game week next week against Sunderland & Hull. If so who? Smalling?

    Any other suggestions?

Liking your front 7 and I think Suarez to Podolski could pay off.

Think we are both in same predicament about back 4 and probably not that confident of CS this week.

My rival with 16 point lead just took a -8 and is captainin Rooney, and I've already taken a -4, we now have same front 7
    Peroni
    Baines, Flanagan, Chester,
    Lallana, Sterling, Eriksson, Ramsey
    Rooney, Suarez, Aguero
I want to swap Ward on my bench for Mertascrotum and captain Ramsey, wise choices??????

Already spent 4pts on transfers but still have Silva. Would you

    A. Do nothing (Barkely on my bench)
    B. Silva for Ramsey (he would be a differential and in chasing 40pts)
    C. Other (advise)
