New Season Memberships Now Available

Fantasy Football Scout memberships for 2014/15 are now available for just £12.50. Last season’s memberships expired back on June 1 but you can now renew to get access to the members area.

Existing registered users can upgrade via this link. New users, who are yet to get a registered account, can sign up via this link.

Currently, payments are made solely through Paypal but we expect to have a new payment method in place via Stripe, in the next two weeks.

For those new to Fantasy Football Scout memberships, you can get full details, along with a series of movies previewing the content, via this page. You can also view the 2-minute trailer below for a snapshot – an updated preview movie for this season.

Last season we were very proud to help both the winner of the Fantasy Premier League, Tom Fenley, and the Ultimate Fantasy Premier League Beta, Alex Bowers, on their successful campaigns: both were Fantasy Football Scout members.

The support provided by our members since we launched has has enabled us to continue to improve the site and we’re looking to develop the members offering further over the season – we hope to bring you news of the first developments next month.

    Hi everyone.

    My friends and I are currently trying to decide which fantasy WC game to play.

    The official one has the RB problem, a points system which could complicate watching games (i.e. looking out for blocked shots/crossess into the box) and no subs before the round is over.

    The Sun one is a bit limited with only 11 players picked and no subs before the group rounds end. A bugger if you get an early injury/card.

    The Fox one looks great and is very similar to FPL but you can't get the prize if (unlikely) you win one. Unless you live in Oz that is.

    The Telegraph one costs two quid so sod that.

    The Mirror one looks just like FPL which is great. But it doesn't seem to have all the players listed. Does anyone know anything about this? I think this would be the best had they all the players.

    Also, can anyone recommend a game? Ideally we are looking for one which closely mirrors the FPL game.

    It is just a week before WC 2014 begins, and I'm so bored that I haven't been able to create a Fantasy team. So, I've taken some of your words, and I've chosen Fox Australia as my second game (apart from McDonald's). So, this is the team I've managed to come with.

    Courtois, Davari,
    Pique, Blind, Debuchy, Lichsteiner, Aurier,
    Muller, de Bruyne, Rodriguez, Valbeuna, Pjanic,
    Ronaldo, Neymar, Lukaku.

    Looks like the prices are reasonable, and I can make a decent team out of it. What do you think about it?

      I would go with the Brazil defence rather than Spain's. All but Alves are same price as Pique.

      Other than that I'm not too sure what Valbuena's appeal is, but he's picked a lot around here.

      IMO Reus is the better player but Muller is more nailed on and will likely play higher up the pitch occasionally. He's also a proven tournament player.

          Fabregas is a cert for me, bonus points goals and assists. Aside from Yaya and Hazard there aren't many big hitting mids looking particularly desirable at this stage and even those two are questionable.

            Fabergas is on my radar for sure. I was to young to really remember any goal or assist returns, but having that experience, playing centrally, and a strong forward unit (on paper at least) to feed, he is on my wachlist.

    Just signed up for the first time and the the first thing that strikes me as very useful is the comparison tool.
    What do you find handy in the members area over the course of the season?

      The members ticker & the comparison tool are 1st class.

      Team stats are useful in identifying which flank a team is weak defensively. If they're weak on their left flank, for example, and they play Arsenal, captain Wally! 😀

      When it comes out, you will love the rate my team (RMT) aspect, the predictions are usually pretty good, and it can really give an indication of whether your team will do well or not, regardless of your preconceptions.

      An example of this is my refusal to get Yaya last season. In the final double gameweek, my score would have been better if I had gone for him. It also pointed out that Nasri was not a bad choice, confirming my thoughts.

      Its like your own personal nanny, not telling you what to do, but reassuring, or letting you know if its a mistake! Thats my take on it anyway!

    Any strategies floating around for the Fox Sports game?
