I'm floored that I'm 1st in the Deadzone league (and the old farts league, too). It won't last past tomorrow (only 2 players left to go), so I think I will have to save some screenshots before tomorrow's update.
One week does not a season make. I'm just happy that I don't need to spend and transfers getting ridof injured or suspended players.

meh, it still can. Anyone who didn't play Siggy was dumb tbh. We knew what united's backline was gonna look like and we knew he was probably gonna play in the hole.

I think there is some merit to doing it with the cheapest of attackers but players priced 6m and above generally have the ability to score against anyone.

It can work, but it's not for me. I would just beat myself over benching quality players. I'd rather have a really strong XI with cheap substitutes that are nailed on just in case.

I'd take it a step further and say GK/DEF rotations are crap 99% of the time.

But yeah, the attacking rotations are a bizarre tactic.

I generally agree. But one example does not constitute evidence, especially on opening dag when there are usually some surprising results.

I saw a fair amount of the second half, and I did not think Sigdursson was that great. He was at the right place at the right time for the goal, but you could argue that DeGea should have had it.
He'll be dangerous, and will score some points, but it's a tad early to crown him player of the year.

Swansea didn't create a lot but Siggy was involved in it all. If you watch his movement for the goal it was sublime.

Had a couple of shots prior to and involved in almost all of Swansea's attacks aswell

He wasn't get forward as much as you'd like to see and United tended to attack down the right a lot. I was very unimpressed and disappointed and pulled the Young>Siggy move by the end of the game.

Agreed. especially tough to asses TOT assets as they played with 10 men for much of the match.

My rule is that I give 2 weeks before I consider jumping on any bandwagons, because once might be a fluke but twice in a row almost certainly isn't.

Absolutely, I did it... then looked at my team... and it just didn't look right...

Although it was Mata he replaced, not Siggy, so it wouldn't have been a huge difference...
