The Dugout Discussion – Aston Villa vs Newcastle

The second Gameweek of the season kicks off with one for the neutrals. Even at this fledgling stage in the season, the encounter between Aston Villa and Newcastle looks every inch a mid-table clash, filled with an array of budget and mid-price Fantasy assets which, while unlikely to form mainstays in our squads, still warrant our attention.

There’s certainly potential on show, with both sides fielding budget defensive curiosities in the shape of Alan Hutton and Paul Dummett. Elsewhere, Villa’s Charles N’Zogbia will continue to attempt to revive his top flight career against one of his former clubs, while Newcastle’s fresh cast of talent – notably Remy Cabella and Emmanuel Riviere – will have another attempt our turning our heads in the hunt for differentials.

The early kick-off is followed by a quartet of three o’clock clashes, before Everton host Arsenal in the big evening clash.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

        if he keeps that up 38 in a season is amazing...

        tihnk im stating to see he is not cap potential...him and sturridge seem very similar, both will prob score 30 goals this season but won't get any big scores, just constant scores week in no matter the fixture

      I said last week that he will score every week but 5 points is all you will get as he will get a plenty of yellows as well.

      If Giroud hits form I'll bring him in and upgrade Terry to Ivan.

      He doesn't nee to play well. He will always score pints as the focal point of Chelsea attack. Well worth 10.5 imo
