Dugout Discussion

The Dugout Discussion – Monday

Last season’s top two go head-to-head at the Etihad this evening as Gameweek 2 is brought to its conclusion. Both City and Liverpool go in search of a second successive win, allowing Fantasy managers the chance to assess our options in midfield and attack, with Raheem Sterling, David Silva, Sergio Aguero and Daniel Sturridge looking to get amongst the goals once again.

Aguero remains on the bench for City, however, as Manuel Pellegrini makes just one change from the side that defeated Newcastle last Sunday. The City boss hands Stevan Jovetic and Edin Dzeko the chance to lead the line again, then, whilst Pablo Zabaleta is drafted in at right-back, with Gael Clichy swapping over to the other flank as Aleksandar Kolarov drops out.

Brendan Rodgers makes a couple of alterations to the XI that started against Southampton last time around. New signing Alberto Moreno is handed a debut at left-back, with Glen Johnson shifting to the right of defence as Javier Manquillo drops out. Elsewhere, Joe Allen comes in for Lucas in the centre of the park.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

61 all out having captained Bony. First clean sheet sweep of the season and highest owned players in that game failed to produce the goods.

Given that I own Mata would Rooney to Aguero be a bit sideways?

First time I've actually had some pre-season bandwagons work for me. Some juicy Jovetic and Lamela points here.

Anyone else have any success with pre-season being the reason?

..like Dzeko lol Good but no end product (IMHO) plus he was subbed for Aguero due to injury (looked minor). Go for Jovetic

Costa or Rooney to Aguero is not a smart move imo. Yes, Kun did more than well.. but Rooney and Costa could easily have a brace next weekend.

Brilliant isn't it, can't believe he did so well. Pellegrini has to stick with him based on that showing, and we have to as well.

Will consider shipping Mata out instead I think, don't feel confident doubling up on United at this moment, but will consider things later on in the week.

Would love a few yes/no opinions on this... WC or no WC?
    Krul
    Terry - Naylor - Kolarov
    Hazard - Sanchez - Siggy - Mata
    Rooney - Austin - Dzeko

    Foster - Chambers - Wanyama - Chester

I normally prefer to save it until later in the season but think I might be in trouble? I do have 2FTs..
