Our first choice striker is Yaya Sanogo, we still haven't bought a defensive midfielder, and we have 2 senior centre backs in the entire squad with Chambers who has played there only a handful of times.

Giroud first choice, Podolski 2nd choice (he is just getting fit enough after wc so didn't start today), Walcott, Sanchez can both play there. Sanogo like 4th choiceGiroud injured. Podolski has never performed as a striker and he was going to be sold, he came on today and was completely invisible as he always is. He is worse than Sanogo when up front. Sanogo misses chances, Podolski doesnt get himself into any positions. Sanchez should have started there if he was first choice, leaving Wilshere and Ox on the bench.
Bottom line, we went into a premier league match today with Sanogo our first choice.
Whilst the money he's spent isn't wasted, he needs a striker to get good value from what he's spent so far.
Can't see why having given the cash to spend, he hasn't done so in this area.
