Fantasy iTeam Returns to the Scout

With the domestic action on a brief hiatus due to the upcoming internationals, we thought we’d give you an early heads-up on one of the Fantasy games already available for this season’s Champions League. Having supported Fantasy iTeam during the summer World Cup, we’re delighted to announce we’ll be teaming up once again ahead of the competition’s kick-off on Tuesday September 16.

Fantasy iTeam is a free Fantasy football app that’s available on a number of mobile devices, including iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Android. With many of you accessing this site and other apps on your mobile or tablets, Fantasy iTeam proved popular amongst the community during Brazil 2014, with a slick and reliable user interface making it a welcome addition to our Fantasy games of choice.

Free to download and play, you can already go in and start drafting up your starting XI with unlimited transfers right up until 10 minutes before the first kick-off. With an iPad mini on offer to the Fantasy Football Scout league winner, there’s no reason not to get involved.

We’ve already set up an official Fantasy Football Scout league for you to join – the league name is Fantasy Football Scout and the pin is 11155.

Furthermore, there are a number of prizes on offer for Fantasy managers. The winner of this season’s Fantasy iTeam game earns a VIP European Match Day Experience for two, whilst second and third spot collect £500 and £250 worth of Amazon vouchers respectively. There’s also a Manager of the Gamreround prize on offer, too – essentially, the Fantasy iTeam that accrues the most points for each individual Champions League Gameround wins a Red Letter Days Experience worth £150.

The Fantasy iTeam game also uses fluctuating player prices based on the transfer market, making it a wise idea to follow the current trends – the team with the highest value by the end of the tournament wins another £500 Amazon voucher.

If you’re looking to dabble in the Champions League this year and have a compatible device, then there’s really no reason not to click here for the official website and download the app.

We’ll continue our coverage of the Fantasy iTeam Champions League game over the next week or so. Next up, we’ll cast an eye over the rules before delving deep into the player price list for potential bargains.

Qpr? 😉 he is a great player that's why he is in my fpl team. I like him, not afraid to take on players and can finish well. He thrived well at Roma and hopefully he does it for spurs.

ADM can surely perform superbly on any pitch. He will sit on the top of assist chart easily with Falcao,RVP and Rooney in front of him.

his goal is misleading but i think he is a very good player and does offer some attacking threat, not as much as the likes of Coleman, Baines and Ivan but he does get forward. Liverpool fixtures are very good, you don't think they will keep more cleanies this year with Lovren?

And it shouldn't have been had Chadli directed the volley to the other side of the goal or had Adebayor controlled the feckin' ball correctly when he lifted it over Migs. Seriously, 2 gusts of wind could have destroyed that CS.

Never quite been in the same class for me, but yeah, he hasn't been given the same opportunities. I just can't believe how quickly Sterling's added so much to his game since November.

          • 10 Years
          9 years, 8 months ago

Yeah sorry. The point I was making was I reckon the Ox might have got to the same level if he'd been allowed exposure to first team football, whether that meant him staying with us for longer or getting opportunities under Wenger. But we shall never know. Sterling owes a lot to Rodgers.

And I always thought that was one of Wenger's greatest abilities, bringing the best out of young players. Though, I suppose, in comparison the Ox was unluckier with injuries.

Three weeks in I just fancy a punt. Miracles stats are great but I fear he could be benched at any time. Tadic has received more passes in the final third than hazard and that's when he was playing on the wing, if he moves to the centre I reckon the points will start rolling.

Yeah I think he's 'due'. Keen to know if he'll be moved behind the striker with mane arriving. Should be lethal if so.

Yeah that's what I'm worried about that mane tucks in behind. Transfer market website has them both down ad left wingers so something has to give. Should produce plenty of goals either way anyway.

My current wildcard team has Stirling, Costa, Wellbeck and falcao. Am tempted to go studge instead of falcao but ould leave me its no Man U coverage and a double up on the pool. Thoughts?

The concept of coverage is nonsense. Let alone getting coverage of a team that only managed 2 goals against Swansea, Sunderland and Burnley..,

Completely agree on coverage (except defenders, clearly!). Which individuals will score most?

Aside from Man Utd's form, who will perform (or even start) isn't clear yet with all the new signings. I'd go Sterling and Studge for now.

    Krul / Elliot
    Azpi / Moreno / Taylor / Wilson / Moore

    Aguero / Costa / Welbeck

Not that I can see, but I'm never great on def picks so will leave that to others. Midfield and strikers are solid in my opinion though, and coverage from all the big teams. Nice balance

        Don't agree

        - Offensive Chelsea and 'Pool defender
        - Wilson / Taylor rotate beautifully

Gk, probably not - but Newcastle look good at the back

Newcastle look good at the back? They shipped in 3 at home last game to palace.
Lpool 1 clean sheet in 3.
          Wilson has little attacking threat
Az has rotation risk and fixtures v arse, city & Utd up
Moreno is a bit of a knee jerk.
I'd ditch Az and Moreno. And redistribute the money more evenly across the defence.
