There was just a wafer-thin point separating myself and Granville in Gameweek 11, despite my rivals decision to ignore the force of nature that is Alexis Sanchez.

In a svelte but packed episode of the ScoutCast, my co-host and I discuss the Chilean’s “essential” charms and pile praise on the reborn Stewart Downing and the new, reliable Leighton Baines v2.

Around the usual regulars, we drop in on some old favourites, as Aleks Kolarov discovers new methods of running Granville’s Gameweek and I somehow manufacture a way of snuggling under the Van Persie duvet. We also carry on nudging the Harry Kane-wagon, run our teams through the Gargatron computer and go on “Warnock Watch” once more.

    I am playing another FPL game, and have three transfers this GW.

    Plans for this GW is getting rid of lloris, and heaton(my reserve) have a few quite good fixtures coming up.

    I also want to chase the Sanchez points, however he is a forward on this game and that makes it hard because i see both costa and aguero as essentials.

    Last i think i am goingto move Sterling to Yaya, i've held sterling since the start now and he's just not paying off.

      how the hell can you afford that team? you have 5 players over 10mill and 2 defenders over 7 mill, with sterling and tadic not being cheap either. ?

      A.) No. Williamson is always looming.

      B.) I don't think so, because selling Bertrand this week feels like just throwing away points. I think it's the right time to sell Sterling, but I'd consider Downing instead this week.

          Just done the exact same move earlier this morning and now my midfield does not inspire confidence at all 🙁

          I'd get ADM if I can. Maybe try to find another option instead of Saylor? I saw Yun from QPR being mentioned a couple of times here.

            It's because it's Downing, Downing FFS! lol Can get ADM for a hit but a QPR defender is a big no-no for me, they might have good fixtures but it's still QPR 🙂

              Yeah ever since I pressed the button my head's been filled with images of Sterling finally recovering his form against Chelsea 😡

              The problem is, I personally don't fancy a lot of the mids in Sterling's price bracket either, i.e. the likes of Oscar, Tadic, Eriksen, Ramsey, Barkley.

              So what are you going to do with Sterling?

        I'm just thinking that if he gets another 6 points its not the end of the world, and at the same time I feel either Berahino or Chadli could get a big score (again), but I don't know which of them.. so I decided to play both of them and hope one of them gets that big score..

          I see your points but Chadli, in my opinion, will never be an explosive player, Fab is playing against a Liverpool side who are massively under pressure to get a result and there will be space for Chelsea to exploit, i feel the liklihood of a big score would come from Fab rather than Chadli this week, not to mention, Spurs are always pants after Europa

            Ah yeah spurs after Europa.. that's a good point.. Chadli got rested though.. I'll consider benching Chadli instead, thanks! Sucked to bench his 8 points last week though:)

            not sure europa will matter seeing as they play on sunday & chadli didnt play, plus chelsea are on the early sat kick off which means fab will have less rest

        The thing is I wanted to get ADM in for Sterling, but it's just not possible without downgrading one of my big hitters.

        I now have 2.8m in the bank because of that trade though so I might look to reinvest back in midfield again next week.

    Play 2 defenders or take a 4 point hit to play 3? Got Hutton and PvA out and Moore looks like he lost his spot, leaving me with Clyne and Chambers.

      Defender should get at least 1 so only a 3 point hit. Finding someone who can take 3rd def for a few weeks is well worth it.

      I have the same dilema and am leaning towards playing 2 defenders plus Moore hoping that he was rested last week and might get some game time. Not many teams keeping clean sheets so the -4 hit unlikely to be cancelled out unless you can afford a Southampton defender.

      Van Aanholt is out for a month but Hutton could be back after the international break and Moore could be back in the side if Leicester get thumped by Southampton. If you knew that all 3 were out for 3-4 weeks then it would be worth taking a hit this week.

        Sahko for me is my gut choice, aston villa were so woeful against spurs and without benteke i can see west ham running things!
