FFS Paddy Power Cup XI and Members Cup V – Sixth Round Draw

This evening we roll out the sixth round draw of the Fantasy Football Scout Cup XI, as sponsored by Paddy Power, as well as the sixth round draw for the Fantasy Football Scout Members Cup.

With Jonty’s (that’s me) defeat to The Flying Nugget there are no longer any former champions left in either the FFS Paddy Power Cup XI or the Members Cup V. My conqueror takes on johni00 in round six of the FFS Paddy Power Cup . Meanwhile there was better news for other FFScout team members. Mark eased past Bartowski to set up a round six tie with $D.K.$F.C, while Ryan beat Super-Hans and will face juniorkai next.

Jon Nurse was round five’s giant killer after seeing off 11th placed BegTets by just a one point margin. He will square up to half-turn volley in the next round.

The highest ranked surviving FFS Paddy Power Cup XI manager is 61st placed fuml_akimbo. I Just Did A Torres, who is ranked 96,583 has the unenviable task of taking him on in round six.

Other notable round six match ups include NeedleVor’s encounter with iceball and Corkyote’s tie with Eedee. The manager with the highest round four score was SIRARSELOT73, who wins £25 worth of free bets with Paddy Power.

In the Members Cup Needlevor was not so fortunate after losing out to Johni00, who is still in the running for winning both cups and takes on waltzingmatildas in round six.

Eye catching round six matches also include Billy Ketsu’s clash with Hasselbaink Forever and Tdubb05’s clash with Dr Rabotnicki. The Members Cup’s highest ranked remaining manager, 25th placed Everybody knows badgers love mashpotato, will takes on faux_C in round six.

The full sixth round draw for the FFS Paddy Power Cup XI can be found here. while the fifth round draw for the Members Scout Cup V can be found here.

Good luck to those involved in the weekend’s action. In the meantime, though, if you’re looking for more information on the Scout Cup schedule and prizes available, click this link for a more thorough rundown.

Javier Hernandez is so out of place in this team. Completely ineffective. Not good enough for this level.

Agreed. He's a poacher though, best off the bench. Fergie perfected managing his game time

Can't believe I'm actually considering this, but do we think Kolarov has the nod over Clichy again?

AVL and QPR in the next 3, and we all know his potential....

      😀 Flair

Even if he has, which is a risk, is City's defence worth his possible attacking returns?

Quick poll - which of the three main Liverpool midfield options below do you LEAST want in your team this DGW and why?

    (A) Coutinho
    (B) Sterling
    (C) Henderson

      It's tough.

Sterling is the best option but then the other two are probably equal, in my opinion.

    Re-wording earlier post

    A or B. on WC

    A) Courtois (Pants)
    Moreno, Terry, Schlupp, (PVA, Kosc)

    B) Migs (Pants)
    Ivan, Terry, Schlupp, (PVA, Kosc)

If I do A I can keep Sanchez. If I do B I swap for Ramsey.

No fear of minus points. Hull don't really concede that many goals.

They've only conceded 4 once this season, which would be 0 points as long as the defender doesn't get booked and play 60 minutes, and never more than 4 goals in one match.

    Evening gents.
So my Sturridge punt resulted in -4 points and a whole lot of cash tied up.
Should I just ditch him right now and play Boyd (LEI) or do I get rid off him for a hit and bring in Giroud now?

    1. Giovanni Giorgio

Ignore any hits already taken and take this one on its merits.

Will Group score at least four more points against Chelsea than Boyd against Leicester? Not in my opinion.

Stick and do it next week for free

    HAZARD, STERLING, FABREGAS, COUTINHO, Sanchez
    Aguero, VARDY

    PANTI, Kane, PVA, Duff
    Bank 0.7m

-> 9 DGWers plus Sanchez and Aguero. Then:

GW35: Save (Kane in for Vardy)
    GW36: Coutinho & Vardy -> Boyd & GIROUD
GW37: Fabs or Sterling -> Ozil or Ramsey

-> 3 ARS and 2 SUN for the GW37 DGW for no hits

Either of the following two options worth it?
    silva > sterling worth -4
    Boyd > sterling; Austin> vardy -8

    Current team is

    Davis (myhill)
    Ivan, skrtel, schlup,
    Hazard, Fabregas, Henderson, silva,
    Aguero, Kane, Austin

    (Toby, Boyd, CDawson)

    1. Colonel Shoe 肝池

B looks good and is technically a -4

      1. birdosworld
        • 11 Years
        9 years, 15 days ago

If I went B then I'd be benching Kane so effectively gambling on the following calculation: Sterling x2 + vardy x2 > Kane + Austin + 8

        1. birdosworld
          • 11 Years
          9 years, 15 days ago

My guess at points would be:

          Sterling (8 + 3), vardy (2 + 7) = 20
          Kane (6) + Austin (6) + 8 = 20

          Nothing much in it really....

Hopefully Mandzukic and Pepe will fight, might be the only interesting thing to cone of this match.

    Bertrand, Moreno, PVA
    Sterling, Hazard, Silva, Fabregas
    Aguero, Remy, Kane

    (Myhill, JWP, Bellerin, Naughton)

      Why?

They are just a poor Chelsea, exact same style of play yet everybody hates Chelsea.

Didn't athletico beat Chelsea last season?

I don't care much for Real Madrid but Atletico are dire to watch so the best scenario is Syd's wish.

When they actually play football the quality is better than the Prem but all this BS soap opera crap is an embarrassment.

not more classy....more quality in the top teams maybe....but all the diving, fake injuries, whistling crowds, weak refereeing, leave it almost without class at all.....this game has been as scummy as it gets
