United and QPR have worries over their first-choice stoppers as we assess the weekend’s new injury concerns for the final time this season. It’s fair to say that, this time round, the injuries have been kept to a minimum.

Aston Villa
Kieran Richardson missed Villa’s 6-1 thrashing at Southampton due to a calf complaint.

Man United
David de Gea was replaced during this afternoon’s draw with Arsenal after sustaining a hip injury.

QPR
Rob Green was forced off with a head knock after colliding with team-mate Joey Barton during the R’s home win over Newcastle.

Sunderland
Billy Jones was replaced late on in the Black Cats’ goalless draw with Leicester due to a muscle problem.

Swansea
Ki Sung-Yeung missed Swansea’s home clash with City after undergoing minor knee surgery in time to be fit for the start of next season.

West Ham
James Collins was withdrawn early on against Everton due to a leg problem, the Hammers have confirmed. Kevin Nolan missed out due to a family bereavement.

    A) Play 4-3-3 and do Kane (eve) and Skrtel (stk) to Ayoze (WHU) and Ivanovic (SUN)
    B) Play 3-4-3 and do Kane (eve) and Larsson (che) to Ayoze and Arnautovic (LIV)
    C) Kane (eve) and Skrtel (stk) to Benteke and Okore. Play either Okore (BUR) or Cambiasso (QPR)
    D) Larsson (che) and Skrtel (stk) to Sissoko (WHU) and Kolarov (SOT)

    Should I be worried about Kolarovs game time?

    Isn't there a good chance of some key Arsenal players getting rested next weekend before the Cup Final, and players like Walcott, Chambers, Gabriel, Welbeck and Wilshere getting a start?

    Sherwood will want to thank the fans after helping him team to survival. Lap of honor and all that. No way he will keep the 6-1 defeat as the last memory of the season. He will need to put some confidence in the team before the final. He will play a strong team and after being 2 goals up, he will take out the key players at around 65th minute. Final is 6 days away which is more than enough rest and preparation.

      Imo their midfield was completely overrun, Ozil/Sanchez/Ramsay not helping out defensively, while Cazorla was basically invisible. Wenger can't possibly expect 5 or 6 United players to get coq-blocked at the same time

            QPR will play with freedom with nothing to play for but pride, Phillips has been playing well v Desperate Newcaslte team needing something from the game. Can see this game being a open game with goals both ends

    My initial thinking was Dawson to Kolarov and Kane to Vardy but both are a bit risky. Is Vardy still playing with injections?

          Not sure on sissoko. Gomis looks a good shout. Would get him if I had the cash. Lukaku always looks a good option, particularly against spurs, but I vowed never to buy him again!!

    With the growing number of FPL players discovering this site and using it regularly, there are a few points which might become important:
    1. More people posting means having to wade through a lot of posts to find useful info. Would be great of there was a follow function to follow favorite posters.
    2. Teams across FPL will become even more template hence more points will/need to be taken. This means luck will pay an even more important role. This slightly negates the useful advice I always find here.
    3. Should the comments section become members only to promote membership and counter some of the above problems.

      This is the first year I've used this site regularly, rather than sporadic checking of the Scout Picks on a Friday evening, and will definitely be getting Membership next year.

      On a related points, what has everyone thought of the scout picks changes this year? I actually preferred it last year, as I feel it was much more effective at picking out high scorers for the week?

    Anyone read the debt and taxation articles in this week's issue of The Economist? It made me visualise FPL hits as like debt and forgoing hits as like equity.
