    azpi cedric francis (targett 5.0)
    sterling hazard ozil depay hendo
    kane pelle (5.0)

what u guys think of this .. anyyyy advice.. would rather tadic than pelle but then i wont be able to afford rooney to replace him.. any advice?

i intend to save two free transfers for gw 3. hoping that sterling does the job for the first two..if cfc are stubborn in defense i dont see it being a big scoring game either.. HOPEFULLY.. i am contemplating replacing pelle with benteke and hendo with tadic.. what u think?

That's a good option. I can see Benteke outscoring Pelle and Tadic outscoring Henderson

my thoughts as well.. just to think of their minutes.. will brendan rodgers the madman start bentegoal right away. will koeman take off tadic in the 59th min.. things we have to consider

I can see that also but I think Pelle will have a better start than Benteke based on his pre season and on his Europa league form!

I don't have an issue with Ruddy but going for two Norwich keepers is a bit too risky for me because Norwich will concede a lot of goals, I have him in a rotation system with Butland.

Targett will only play for the first couple of games so I would look to upgrade him to a 4.5 defender.

The midfield 5 is good but I wouldn't put Depay in this early as it is a risk, but I've been changing him in and out of my team for a few weeks now so if you stick with him I'd keep him for the long run as he is bound to be a high-hitter in the end.

I'm banking on Kane and Pelle getting off to good starts, I have Pelle with Rooney but considering putting Kane in instead of Rooney.

      Decent team though good luck

same thing i was thinking was considering mata as he is epl proven and the same price to cover the absence of rooney that i dont have, i was also contemplating removing pelle for benteke and hendo out for tadic.. what u think? and i only have ruddy and rudd cuz if ruddy gets injured out i would not have had to worry abt playing without a keeper. but i have thinking to do. with mata and depay. lvg seems obsessed with him

        1. Wes Brown

Would definitely start off with Mata and then when Depay hits form its easy to swap him in. Hendo for Tadic is a must IMO. I am planning on swapping Benteke in for Pelle later on when Liverpool get some better fixtures and Benteke finds his feet. I get your thinking behind the Norwich keeper's thing but I think if you're gonna go in that direction then you should maybe consider picking Schmiechal and Shwarzer as Leicester will probably be better off with their defensive improvements.

you are right.definitely will consider that. as for benteke hendo and tadic pelle situation i have to decide which is the better combo to start with . bente tadic or pelle hendo. i have to consider minutes as well.. cant deal with tadic playing 59 mins and killing me.. hendo and pelle minutes are sure so that too i have to consider. but we shall see..

            1. Wes Brown

If I were you I'd maybe consider all your 7.0 or under options so that you can feel more comfortable with who you partner with Pelle, as he's probably a better option to start with, although if you started with Benteke, it could be a punt that pays off.

Good luck for the season man! Hope you find a way to get Tadic in as you're clearly fond of him haha.

Well, after finally deciding I've finished with my team and I'm good to go, Mane has completely screwed up my plans with a MOTM display, making me go back to the drawing board.

I've decided to go from a 3-4-3 to a 3-5-2, mostly because in the event of a 0-0 draw in a game I can take comfort in the +1 point my midfielder will receive. That, and I need to have Mane without dropping Hazard.

Therefore, the new draft. Yes, I know my defense is poor, but I'm hoping Ivanovic saves me there:

    Ruddy (Rudd)

    Ivanovic-Huth-O'Shea (Simpson, Targett)

    Hazard-Walcott-Sterling-Mane-Ritchie

    Costa-Sakho (Graham)

2.0 in the bank for Costa to Aguero following GW 1. Another strategy is to bring in Rooney for some good captaincy options, and then transfer out for Aguero after that. We'll just have to wait and see on that.

    What do you guys think?

    1. tyron
      • 9 Years

very smart in terms of the aguero plan. but costa worries me maybe u can play rooney instead for manu cover. u already have hazard and ivan as attacking cover. maybe some manu cover will be good for the spread

      1. PSEBJ27

If Costa is injured for sure then Rooney is my replacement. If not, the I'll wait to see how Rooney fares against Spurs and transfer accordingly.

I had Mane too but got Pelle in instead. Even with MOTM performance, Mane gets two assists, while Pelle sneaks in a goal.

I would prefer 4.5 mid + Pelle to Mane + Graham, personally.

    .RMT please?

    Schmeichel/Fab
    Azpi/Kosc/Morgan/Oshea/Cedric
    Hazard/Santi/Hendo/Ki/Wanyama
    Costa/Rooney/Deeney

should i spend my 0.5 on ki to a 6m(Ritchie maybe)? Santi or Ozil? Any thoughts or suggestions would be welcome.

    For the first 4 gw's

    A Walcott + Pelle

    B Ozil + Benteke

Already have Mane and would have no Liverpool coverage. Saints have some lovely fixtures but not sure if I want to double up - even though on tonight's game Pelle and Mane would have been perfect!

any spurs fan here ? wana know who yall think would start between trippier and walker.

    1. Pochecinno
      • 8 Years
      8 years, 10 months ago

Walker seems the obvious contender because of experience and attacking threat. Though Trippier seems the more Pochetino type player and the fact that he is a Poch signing seems to weigh in his favour. Having said that, he surprised us all last season by preferring Rose over Davies when the latter had the same things in his favour that Trippier has this season.

So, in conclusion, I really have no idea. Sorry mate.

      Loooots of risks there.

Lukaku needs exit plan after GW1. Berahino has tough fixtures too, and with the Pulis effect they may try to park the bus. I would downgrade McClean to 4.5 bench fodder and upgrade Berahino.

Darmian and Depay new to PL so they are risks, not sold on Aldy either.
Morgan may not start GW1 (citation needed), so swap to Huth.

Huths a good shout, thanks.McCleans a local lad so he's staying...Lol....Darmian and Delay are punts...maybe take out Darmian although he's good don't think he can make up for the rest of Utds defence....so I might have a look elsewhere

Hey lads, could I please get your thoughts on my squad:

    Schmei
    Ivan - Kosc - Francis
    Haz - Ozil - Hendo - Chadli
    Aguero - Wilson - Sakho

    Fabianski - Adlerweireld - Prodl - Wanyama

Aguero and Ivan can be downgraded any time to fit in bandwagons. Not sure if I should take Rooney over Aguero to start?

I would take Rooney at the start. And not sure if Alder will get many CSs. Too much in defence my opinion - I prefer 9.0 GKs and less on def (is. Prodl 4.5 or 5?).

    Myhill Bou
    Ivanovic Reid OShea Huth Targett
    Silva Walcott Milner Ritchie 4.5
    Costa Rooney Pelle

Aguero plan (atm) is Costa/Rooney + Pelle --> Aguero + Deeney

Which 4.5 to get? And which Bournemouth keeper will start?

    Hi Guys,

My first draft for the coming season:

    Myhill Schmeichel

    Ivan Cedric Alder O'Shea Francis

    Yaya Haz Cabaye Santi Wanyama

    Roo Tekkers Sakho

    0 ITB.

my main concerns are Cedric, Alder, Cabaye & Yaya,

    stick or twist?

    1. El-Kloppico
      • 8 Years
      8 years, 10 months ago

Cedric will do well IMO, but I'd rather go for Rose instead of Alder.. Yaya for me is not worth the price, Sterling, Ozil, Sig, Depay, Coutinho IMO will have a better return. I wouldn't trust Cabaye to start with also, maybe will give him some weeks to prove something first.

Hi there, thanks for you feedback. I chose Yaya for for his set-piece abilities in the absence of Kun, as for Cabaye, definitely a pun, lol.

    RMT plz;

    Cech - Guzan
    Clyne - Azpi - Cedric - Morgan - S.Taylor
    Hazard - Chadli - Walcott - Hendo - Albrighton
    Rooney - Benteke - Wilson

Was thinking of downgrade Walcot to Ki Sun Yun and invest in Kane instead of Wilson, providing a bigger goals return. Chadli is a big doubt also but worth the risk I think, since I'll be benching him for 1st match.

    Rooney(TOT) - Lukaku(WAT) - Wilson(AVL)

    4.0 - Targett - 4.0 - 4.0

All-out-attack chip + WC. Better use the chip now than when you have a crappy 4.5m mid coming on.

Was planning an early WC anyway to bring in Kun, bargain starters etc... Also, Tottenham, Swansea and West Ham have better fixtures from GW2 too. And we'll know a lot more about starting lineups after the first GW.

There's just great synergy between the all-out-attack chip and WC in GW1. Can you think of a better time to use the chip? At what point in the season will you not have a 4.5m mid?

So transfer out your 4.5m mid to bring in a DGWer, then use the chip? You'll still have the same number of DGWers, because that transfer could have been used on bringing in another DGWer in the main team 😀

        Walcott is my captain 😀

Sterling faces a Pulis defence away from home, and Cabaye is away from home and it remains to be seen how well he'll do at Palace.

i am thinking gw 38. will have high tv to get a solid fifth mid. remember you will have recently used a wc for the bench boost chip aswell at that point so would probbaly have decent money in fifth mid anyway.Gw 38 generally seems to be full of goals and little cs, perfect for the all out attack chip imo

Not a bad idea. I doubt I'd have money invested in the 5th mid though, even after a bench boost.

why not? you could get huge points from a 5-6m fifth mid in a dgw...

You could get good returns from a 3rd defender too.

Only seven midfielders and six forwards managed double-figure hauls during last season’s doubles, compared to five keepers and 15 defenders.

The crazy world of GW1 tinkering

    Please RMT

    3-4-3

    Ruddy Schwarzer
Ivanovic Richards O'Shea Lescott Ekstrand (Bench warmer and little chance of price drop)
Henderson Hazard Walcott Ki Sung-yueng Andreu (Same as Ekstrand)
    Rooney Agüero Deeney

Aguero in for visibility - Will play Tekkers or Sakho GW1 then revert back.

Hi guys, Unlike a lot of people I’ve went for a strong GK and two strong defenders. I actually really like my team as I wanted to build it around Rooney, Giroud and Rambo. However, I am not happy with having Schneiderlin (5.5m). Has anyone got any suggestions?

    Courtois
    Azpi Kosc Mings Huth
    Rambo Haz Hendo
    Rooney Giroud(c) Wilson

    Bench: McCarthy(GK) Siggy Schneid O’shea

Trying my luck to get some input. Being new to this I am a little uncertain, but I think my strategy is 4-3-3 with a pretty heavy defence.

    Here goes
    Rudd / Stekelenburg
    Ivan – Azp – Kosc –O’Shea/Martin
Fabregas – Özil - Wanyama Atsu / Surman
    Rooney – Aguero – Sakho

GKs will be rolled based on fixtures
Plan is to keep the defence and roll O’Shea and Martin (Cedric for Martin?).
Midfield I am uncertain, but thinking Fab and Özil will be good + a cheap value in Wanyama
The forwards are based with 2 heavy hitters and Sakho where I can use FT based on the fixtures

Would love som overall comments and I am really not sure about Özil and what to do with Aguero until he is ready. Still have £1M in the bank too, so I can upgrade.

Apart from Wanyama your first XI looks pretty strong, though with 1m in the bank and Aguero not being available at the beginning of the season, you should be able to remedy that. Ozil is a dead starter and is assist king so I wouldn't worry about him.

    Cech (Schwarzer)
    Ivanovic/Azpi/Koscielny/Cedric/Lescott
    Hazard/Sterling/Mane/Cazorla/Wanyama
    Rooney/4.5/4.5

    0.5 in the bank

I've gone for strength in Defense leaving me with only one proper striker. What does everyone think? I'm tempted to downgrade Ivan (I already have Azpi) to free some money up for a decent cheap forward (Possibly Bojan). What are your thoughts?
