Season Predictions 2015/16 – The View From The Scouts

Welcome to our annual attempt to select the best and worst options in the Fantasy Premier League game and assess how the forthcoming Premier League season will pan out.

Unlike previous attempts, last year saw a number of successful predictions from the Scouts. Granville was correct in predicting a stellar debut season for Diego Costa, Danny Ings and Gylfi Sigurdsson, while Jordan Henderson rewarded my faith in him as a budget midfielder.

Naturally we didn’t get it right all the time and there were some noticeable horror predictions. Andre Schurrle’s departure from Chelsea meant Mark’s guess that he would be the year’s best differential proved ill-fated. Nikica Jelavic, meanwhile, failed to live up to the hype generated by Ryan as being the top scoring budget forward of the year.

Here’s the link if you want to remind yourself just how reliable our soothsaying powers can be.

Hopefully in our latest predictions for the forthcoming Premier League our embarrassing picks will be consigned to the past for good.

he knows as much as us and interpreted it incorrectly.

Rooney is terrible at pens, LVG surely knows this.

Any reason why no one seems to have Sinclair in their squads? Seems good value for an in form midfielder who scores goals.

Why do people do the h2h leagues only ever been in 3 I've beaten the eventual winner ranging from 50-200pts and still lost you have no control! One year in my work league some ghost team had Darren bent captain he score 2 goals that season, both times vs my team.
I've e been coerced into entering to this season wasting two league slots on total random luck!
Would like to hear your opinion....

That's what I though but when I looked into the numbers of those leagues I was losing weeks where I was 2nd highest scorer in the league say 73pts and losing while the eventual winner got 12points from scores under 30!
These leagues are a waste of time

The knee is quivering and I'm starting to consider Aguero and Mahrez over Benteke and Sterling. It would mean I'd have to downgrade 4.5 rotating keepers to 4.5/4.0 as well as Kosc to Mert. Add in the fact that it'll leave me with a 5.5 fourth mid and 5.5 third striker...

    Tell me I'm being silly.

    But it's Aguero... :/
