    Is Sako a viable option?
Looked good recently but will it last?
He was a machine in the championship last season

Mahrez for me was attractive as he had pens and some set pieces. If I was on wc I would def consider as 5th mid

    Pedro...
Anyone else not that convinced? stats look good on paper but they are deceptively good.. He and Chelsea were very average in general.
Note: He takes his share of corners too 🙂

Hey Wakey(and fellow Shelvey owner) ,
What exactly do you see that makes you recommend him? Just Curious.. I was trying to watch 3 games at once so maybe i should watch it again. Took corners.. took a shot which went over. disappeared for 60 mins and then popped up with an assist from what i saw 🙂

Would you sell one of Diouf/Benteke for Wilson ?

Diouf: ars, LEI, BOU, avl, swa, WAT
Benteke: mun, NOR, AVL, eve, tot, SOU
Wilson: nor, SUN, stk, WAT, mci, TOT

Their fixtures look really good after next week.

I'm not an expert, but I wasn't surprised Aguero didn't score today. I've said all week long. Flores knows Aguero better than anyone from their time at Atletico. You just nullify Aguero, its clearly not that straight forward, but Watford were clearly parking the bus and were always going to make it difficult. That's why I went for Costa as captain, yes it didn't work, but I knew it wasn't gonna happen for Aguero.

It's true. Why does Messi have an appalling record vs English sides? You get 2 or 3 men to man mark him, and he's taken out of the game instantly. But then that allows space for others. The point is, you take Man City's best player out of the Game
(Aguero), he's limited to do what he wants to do. Therefore Watford win against him.
It clearly doesn't work every time, Aguero needs half a yard and he'll score, simple. But, on most occasions, a tactical approach ^^ will work.

I know that, but the fact is, on the road, the game will be more open. If a small team goes to the Etihad, they know they won't stand a chance if they go toe to toe with City. Arrive, park the triple decker, and you might get a result. Stoke city prime example last season Vs City.

For me the small victories are the best,

I agonized about whom to bench, and went with Payet and Richards (over Darmian and Targett).

I thought there was not a lot in it; the bookies favoured a Richards cleanie (which I doubted) but I wanted someone playing on Sunday. I went with having a funner weekend with players on Sunday.

Darmian and Targett will probably get no more than the 4 points Payet and Richards got, but it still feels like a victory.

    Anyone else make this call?

I'd be so surprised if united kept Swansea out. They've got away with average defending so far

And my saints are awful at the moment especially at full back. Would have no problems if we got a clean sheet though!

Cedric is so close to drop, but if people are rational at all (a massive IF, I know), shouldn't he be safe until Southampton has played this GW?

The season of the cheap players?

Sanchez, Aguero, Hazard, Ivanovic - all underperforming compared to the cheap to mid priced players.

I'm generally in favour of early transfers to build TV at the start of the season, but think I'm going to let Pedro rise tonight, would rather wait until I know none of my players are injured...

Personal choice. This type of situation comes up a lot so just be consistent with your plan. That way you can't regret individual decisions that go wrong.

I'm literally going to play "reverse" fixtures now - for example I will specifically play defenders vs Ars, Che, ManU etc. and avoid "easy" fixtures. Who's with me?

You can only do that with WBA defenders. Otherwise, be sensible.

Thoughts? 2 FTs and 0.0 ITB.

    Hart
    Darmian / Williams / Targett
    Sanchez / Payet / Toure / Ayew
    Pelle / Aguero (C) / Diouf

    McCarthy -- Hoolahan, Richards, Muniesa
