I've got a pretty similar issue, and I think I'm leaning towards Townsend. Plays 35, decent fixtures in 36 and 37 too, this truly is last chance saloon for Newcastle, and he looks like one of the few players who is up for it.

With all the rotation worries, injury worries etc. I just don't think I can afford to bring in someone else without a fixture in 35. And with just 0.2 itb, there's not really anywhere else I can go.

Gabriel is very likely to start no reason not to, Mangala on the other hand might not get both games, if you can do lennon to Iwobi without ditching gabriel then do that

I always start the season poorly and then go on a decent run of green arrows. Best was something like 12 in row or maybe 12 from 1e. But granted that was something like a 7 figure starting point.

Nothing against hits in a dgw. However, the three players you are looking at bringing in must have some sort of question mark about gametime.

If he's out then yes. Lanzini would be my preference although Iwobi makes more appeal with his fixtures.

Rojo has the highest ppg under 5.2. Then there is Fensah-M at 3.9 too. I'd avoid LIV right now if rot seems likely.
