I'd guess the reasoning is similar to Sturridge at Liverpool. Doesn't do enough defensively for a game against Barca.
A) Lose Aguero and upgrade Sterling to KDB
B) Lose Sanchez for KDB. Change Sterling to Ozil and keep Aguero.

Pep will choose his team based on the opponent. The days of aguero being that main man maybe over. I honestly think pep prefers kdb and sterling and those are his favouritesThere's no challenge in the PL equivalent to a game against Barca though.

Wenger seems to be learning - don't rest players early in the CL, get the wins under your belt then you can rest players later if you need to.

7 years, 6 months agoIt's Sanchez vs Aguero for me in the captaincy. Sanchez has the better fixture but Aguero has an extra day to recover. If Sanchez were rested tonight it would make the decision a whole lot easier
