We start by assessing Olivier Giroud’s impact on the goal threat of Alexis Sanchez, at a time where Chelsea’s midfield big-hitter is failing to impress. Elsewhere, Liverpool’s resurgent Brazilian, Sergio Aguero’s recent barren streak and West Ham’s new-found source of creativity all come under analysis ahead of Gameweek 23.

I like the way he kept getting in behind v Spurs.
Worry for me is Jesus getting in the team.
I've had him for a few weeks... can't complain about the points. But that GJ cameo vs Spurs got me worried. There's only two wide spots, and City now have Sterling, Sané, the two Jesuses and Nolito. And a compulsive tinkerer at the helm.
What would people think about a system in which you could pay off past hits if you had 2 free transfers? You wouldn't be able to become manager of the month, week etc by paying off the hits but you would gain 4 extra points and the 2 frees rule would mean you could only do it every 2 weeks at best and that's ignoring the need for transfers even then.

Dislike. As a very cautious player i like to be rewarded for not taking hits. People who take them a lot should have to pay for that and not have the chance to get it back when it suits them.
This. I'm not in favor of any chip that allows you to "undo" past choices/mistakes. I've seen people on here recommending a switch your vice-captain to captain chip AFTER the games have been played. Just no.
That adds even more luck factor into the game. Awful idea. I say scrap the chips. Scrap the broken bonus system and bring back the man in the crowd system.

I'll disagree with you on a few of those.
I think the extra wildcard is fine and can add even more strategy to the game--rewarding the people who think through things most critically.
I also hate the idea of the man in the stands for bonus. Any game that relies on subjective feedback is trouble for me. I like that the current system is based purely on statistics. Even if we think the stats they are using are kak, they are clearly stated and can't be questioned.
The wild cards are ok really. When I first started playing the game 10 years ago it was exactly as I explained above. Suppose it's just moved with the times and im old skool with it. I really dislike the chips though.
The bps system needs a few tweaks at the very least. I remember the days where Charlie Adam was 3bps a week with the man in the crowd..simply because he was the best player on the pitch. And not passing side to side racking up pass completion bps. It was contreversial at times don't get me wrong

Sanchez for me. Watford are useless and Hull have tightened up. Extra point for a goal. Extra point for a clean sheet.
Very tempted to get Kane in for Costa for a hit. Costa is consistent but has a low ceiling. Also bad fixtures short term. Kane is explosive on his day and has better fixtures.
Definitely not for a hit. Possibly for a FT but even that would be very debatable.
I would do it for a free but not for a hit. Still expecting Costa to score his usual goal and six points over the tough fixtures

I wouldn't take Giroud out for a hit and that Spurs coverage is more than enough this week.

Too much emphasis on quick transitioning when they win the ball back and Coutinho dropping deep to initiate attacks. Could do with a midfielder alongside Henderson who can play over 100 passes a game and control the tempo rather than Can/Wijnaldum.
