An unprecedented summer podcast arrives following the Fantasy Premier League launch, as Jonty, Andy and Luke join me in the afterglow of a joyous day.

Technically “on the beach” and fighting back to full fitness, we nonetheless brave the airwaves to chime in on the price list, reclassified players and some early formation dancing.

We glory in the potential bargains, lament the overpriced and make bold claims on our lineups that will doubtless be reversed come August 11. If Andy has Chris Brunt in his Gameweek 1 squad, I’ll eat my Free Hit chip.

The FPL Draft game gets a rinsing, and we end the show with our proud declaration of our team ID’s. A conclusion that leaves me feeling rather inadequate even before a ball has been kicked.

      Sanchez is a headache. I think there's better options than Lacazette around that price range. If he starts on fire then he could easily be swapped in for a Jesus or Lukaku if need be.

      Fair enough hasn't brunt been a midfielder more often than defender in his rl career. I think they may have been more lenient if he hadn't assisted so much from set piece

    Sanchez at 12.0 and Kane at 12.5 are far easier to downgrade than the reverse.

        If he's at City, he'll probably be the top scoring midfielder in the game. He's average 212 points per season since he joined Arsenal.

      Kane feels essential to me; I would prefer Kun and Kaku at 11.5 than Alexis at 12 to start of the season; times will change though

      Its just Coutinhos minutes I worry about.. A lot of money if he only plays 65 to 70 mins. Sane is another one who could be prone to rotation but apart from that yeah it's solid.

    Anyone considering Ederson as a cheap route into the city backline? I don't normally like to spend more than 4.5m on a keeper, but he's likely to be in the bps regularly with the extra gained form pass completion with Pep's style of play, and should be nailed on for the season.
