An unprecedented summer podcast arrives following the Fantasy Premier League launch, as Jonty, Andy and Luke join me in the afterglow of a joyous day.

Technically “on the beach” and fighting back to full fitness, we nonetheless brave the airwaves to chime in on the price list, reclassified players and some early formation dancing.

We glory in the potential bargains, lament the overpriced and make bold claims on our lineups that will doubtless be reversed come August 11. If Andy has Chris Brunt in his Gameweek 1 squad, I’ll eat my Free Hit chip.

The FPL Draft game gets a rinsing, and we end the show with our proud declaration of our team ID’s. A conclusion that leaves me feeling rather inadequate even before a ball has been kicked.

      If you wanna keep the big 3, I say get stanislas instead of Tadic, I think he'll have a great season but there are very good midfield options available if you do downgrade

      Looks good- I'm not a fan of Defoe or Sane personally. Would downgrade Defoe maybe to upgrade Sane to a 9.0/9.5.

          As a Chelsea fan you'd probably be aware of Mourinho's tendency to make changes at 2-0 (or when the game seems won).

          His excuse was always "we have to save the players for later in the season when we have Champions League."

          I'd swap one of them for a team that generally likes to entertain. Probably someone from City.

      A lot of people ragging on Hugo Lloris don't understand he was injured for a while and played 300mins less than everyone else. Had he not been injured he would have gotten significantly more than 140pointd putting him over and above any other keeper.

        I'm not buying the 'not enough points / value' or captaincy argument for Costa. A lot of us got burnt last season with that thinking and waiting for THAT yellow card. If he stays at Chelsea (unlikely), he'll be up there.

        Ill get it up, just on my phone atm tho with some slow internet.

        By decent ranking i dont mean anything special though, my starts always hurt me. Last season finished 250k jumping 800k in last 6-8 weeks, last 3 seasons before then was around the 50k mark

            Hopefully!, highest rank was 47k so would be very happy with 20k. Captain options always let me down, seem to have always gone for picks like coutinho, firmino hazard, alli, instead of someone like kane, sanchez or aguero in the past. This season going to try keep it on kane lukaku. Ignoring sanchez for a period last year hurt me

    Ahhh pre-season games. In search of that cheap gem who bangs them in for fun...who turns out to be complete rubbish & you have to get rid quick smart. Who was that cheap Wigan striker a few years back? Rubbish. I got in Deulofeu last season, rubbish. Many many more down the years. Who's next?
