Dugout Discussion – Stoke vs Man United

Saturday’s events conclude at the bet365 as Manchester United bid to reclaim the Premier League top spot with a victory at Stoke City.

Jose Mourinho’s side are awash with major Fantasy talent as Romelu Lukuku heads into the match as the top captain pick for a fourth successive Gameweek.

Over 179,000 (37%) back the Belgian with the armband who is under pressure to deliver after goals from the next three most popular picks – Harry Kane, Alexandre Lacazette and Alvaro Morata – earlier in the day.

Paul Pogba also boasts a swell of support. Owned by 1.8 million (37.5%), he wears the armband for over 203,000 managers this evening.

Meanwhile, Henrikh Mkhitaryan goes into the game as the most signed midfielder ahead of Gameweek 4, having claimed another 236,000 owners.

With Ander Herrera recalled to the Man Utd starting XI, it could be that Pogba is shifted up behind Lukaku this evening, with Mkhitaryan starting wide on the right.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Firm but this week didn't look like a good example. Just wait when they start playing those mid table sides that actually want to have a go

I'd say Jesus. Lacazette was fine, his goal was very classy, but he was pretty invisible for long stretches of the match. Playing time is also a slight issue with Welbz giving Wenger no reason to drop him and Sanchez lurking.

    Ritchie, Jese, Gross, Brady -

Pick three ( or omit one)

Watched Ritchie three times this season and he looks dangerous. Watched Gross twice before today and he didn't look like scoring (I know he did today ha). Can't say for the other two, haven't watched them. I'd expect Ritchie to start bringing in points though as he dominates set pieces and has a lot of shots. Gross I think perhaps had a fluke today.

I am a Newcastle fan though so take my advice with a pinch of salt. Atsu might be worth considering instead.

I knoq people will say hindsight but still - the plan was to start with Danilo and switch out to Trippier once he was fit and when Mendy got back in the team - Walkers red delayed it, but this way the week to do it.

Instead I pull of the most pointless minus 8 which has gained me no difference to the players I've put in pending Kyle Naughton!

Sometimes we overcomplicate things don't we!
