Pep sunk his teeth into our Gameweeks, while an old moggy took a chunk out of my partner’s arm, depriving me of my appearance on this week’s ScoutCast. I’m not sure which was more painful.

At the mercy of the local A&E, Jonty, Andy and Az became my other emergency service as they stepped up on this latest episode.

Inevitably, Guardiola’s Man City teamsheet dominates your questions and the ensuing chatter. Elsewhere the boys re-appraise Kane after his Wembley haul, revisit Liverpool with their fixtures about to swing and consider whether the heavy-hitting midfielders are poised for a renaissance ahead of Gameweek 10.

As far as I know, I’ve edited out all the “pussy” jokes.

    How many minutes, if any, do you think Aguero will play this weekend considering hes played 120 min mid week and his next two fixtures are Napoli and Arsenal.

        No one knows. He was resting 2 or 3 games at bench after injury and cup game was on Tuesday so he should be okay for Saturday game. But as said no one knows...

      Re: Free Hit Chip from FPL as a lot of questions being asked about it. 3d time posting today...

      Hi TFF,

      None of the players you sign during your Free Hit Gameweek (before or after you activate the Free Hit chip) will remain in your team when the deadline passes, and your team will revert to the previous line-up.

      You should find that the TC column for the Gameweek in question on your 'View Gameweek history' page displays a 0, indicating that you weren't deducted any points when playing your Free Hit.

      Please also note that when playing the Free Hit chip, any saved free transfers will be lost, and you will be back down to one free transfer for the next GW.

    So I'm having quite a dilemma. I can use my 2 free transfers to go Kane & Tom Carroll --> Sane & Firmino.

    Maguire - Luiz - Davies (Dunk - Wimmer)
    Hazard - Richarlison - Sane - Silva (RLC)
    Firmino - Jesus - Vardy

    Now, that looks like a super team for this week. However, I reeeeeally want Kane back in next week and I'd have to take a hit?
    So should I
    A. Do the above (Kane & TC --> Sane & Firmino)
    B. Kane to Lacazette (and maybe Hazard to Salah) and play RLC?

    kane's most likely score vs man utd was 2 anyway for me, not sure this level of mass panic is necesssary (unless on a wildcard). just make sure you have a playing sub

        yep. aurier was a one-off solution given it was salah and too early for rose, and rose isn't going to start back to back games yet

      This is true.

      My team contains Kane, Hoedt, Davies, Suttner, Loftus-Cheek, Sterling, Jesus.

      To be honest I expect the last 5 to all play at least some part but it only takes 2 of them to be missing and I'm down to 10 men.

      Even setting aside the fact my team contains some shocking picks it makes the Free Hit an increasingly attractive option. Haven't hit the button yet but I'm about to assemble a theoretical team and see how it looks...

          I've already made my free transfer so that would be for a hit. I've been carrying him for the last few weeks as a stone of shame to remind me that I'm not a clever person and I shouldn't try to act like one.
