Same here. Managed to get a small green arrow with Vardy vice captain. Solid bench and VCs needed. I’m starting to overhaul my squad and I’m eliminating some of the rotation risks over the coming weeks. Comes at a cost, though.

That is an option but you will lose rank anyway when one of the big hitters delivers and will always have problems choosing a captain.

That's what 9/10 managers in my Draft league thought, opting for assured budget-mid options while I snapped up Sane, Sterling, Pedro, Morata, Kun, D. Silva, and now I'm 200 points ahead.

You just need a strong bench, and to assess the risk on a case by case basis. We already knew there was a good chance Kane and Aguero wouldn't play last week, so it was kind of your fault, right?

It seems like you're suggesting a general rule that we shouldn't buy premium players, because they cost us more when they don't play. Well some people certainly play by a similar rule by only buying one premium striker, for example, but I don't think we can generalise, because it depends on the value of specific combos of players, which includes the likelihood of being rested or playing on any given week.
