The ScoutCast takes on the role of support group ahead of Gameweek 18, as the four-strong collective attempt to give advice on how to find motivation when the season begins to slide into the abyss.

I go AWOL, though Peter Kouwenberg comes in for a timely debut. The former Hall of Fame number one is one of those suffering an abject season, after an extraordinary run of three successive top 300 finishes. No, really.

For once, Jonty, Andy and Az are in the presence of Fantasy Premier League greatness, then, as the quartet give counsel on those struggling to soldier on after a season of “unnecessary roughness”.

Elsewhere they talk Harry Kane for once, as exit plans are abandoned, while questioning whether Eden Hazard can justify his selection in light of David Silva’s sudden goal spree.

    Hi guys, any idea what the Morata status is?
    Also, do we reckon Kane+Elliot-->Lacazette+DDG is worthwhile?
    Obviously it's a big risk getting rid of Kane, but he has tough fixtures and a blank.

      Morata should be fit, but may not walk back into the side with Chelsea doing so well playing a false 9.

      I'd keep Kane. You don't want to use transfers to do the hokey-cokey for the DGW. Chances are you will need your transfers for other things. Lots of injuries at this time of year.

    Dont think its a new thing , but if you can hold any transfers to after 10.30pm the night before the gameweek.

    Seems to be snippets of managers press conference being held back for the written press..

    Example was Morata the other night, its probably always been the case, but it could make sense to wait if you can

      If you look at the expected delta data the members area, Gross has clearly overperformed. He appears to be regressing as the Delta data suggested he would.

      Richarlison is a season keeper because he is so attacking ... Assuming the injury is nothing serious of course.

      Watford don't keep many clean sheets and are awful for expected goals conceded. I'd keep at least 1 (fit) Burnley Defender all season personally

      1. Ogbonna, as I think Masuaku will drop out of the starting lineup now that Chica is back and the fixtures are turning. Hammers need to start hammering opponents, they need to change their tactics/formation.

      2. If he’s only out for one week, keep. No better option. If he’s out for longer, Lanzini could be a decent option if my view on point 1 is correct. Wouldn’t want 2x WH so focus on getting an attacking Hammer from here on imo.

          Don’t think you need to worry about Morata but you’ll probably know more this afternoon. Start Wimmer as Zouma is out, far from a guaranteed CS but better to hold for another week (Kiko & Rich). Daniels could still do well against Pool.
