Dugout Discussion – Man City vs Newcastle

Saturday ends at the Etihad Stadium where Manchester City bid to recover from their defeat at Anfield with three points over Newcastle United.

In Fantasy terms we have three of the top seven captain picks on show in the City attack.

Sergio Aguero leads the way with 581,000+ (10.3%) backers who will hope that he can deliver on an incredible record against the Magpies.

The Argentinian averages a goal or assist every 31 minutes against Newcastle in home matches, though he has just a single goal in his last four Gameweeks.

Kevin De Bruyne sports 178,000 armbands (3.1%) as he goes into the game with three assists in his last five; his last goal came back in Gameweek 18.

Meanwhile, Raheem Sterling – who was surprisingly sold by 108,000 ahead of Gameweek 24 – has the support of 152,000 managers as he bids to add to his tally of nine goals on home turf.

        Was looking at Choupo, Shaqiri or The Ox myself. Stoke have some really, really nice upcoming fixtures. There's definitely potential there for some returns from either one of those two.

        The Ox is starting to look good for Liverpool and will almost certainly be a first team regular. Not too sure about how much he's always going to be involved in direct goals, though. Looks like he'll be taking Coutinho's position (when Mane, Salah and Bobby all play) so he'll be deeper and as he's not World Class like Phil, I can't see him having a consistent, regular impact.

        But for the price he's not a bad option. Think Richarlison is definitely dead and buried now - only seems to play well when Watford play well. Both have looked terrible of late.

        I can bring Kun in for Firmino for a -4 if I downgrade Ota to Maguire. But I just don´t want to unbalance my team. I lost points this week, maybe. Let´s see what Firmino does and maybe I can lose some more but I think in 2 or 3 weeks Kun goes to rotation city again.
