Dugout Discussion – Man City vs Leicester

Saturday’s events conclude at the Etihad Stadium where the champions-elect Manchester City host Leicester City.

Fantasy managers will of course be focused on the home side’s attacking assets, with Sergio Aguero backed by 778,000 (13.5%) with the captaincy, including 26 of the top 100 – second only to Mohamed Salah (50).

The Argentine goes into this game with seven goals in his last four home Premier League matches and 10 in his last six in all competitions.

Kevin De Bruyne (3.8%) and Raheem Sterling (2.5%) are also among the top seven captaincy picks for the Gameweek and also boast exceptional records on home turf. De Bruyne has scored 33 points from his previous four, while Sterling has produced 37.

The City defence has been less productive, with just one clean sheet from their last five Gameweeks. Nicolas Otamendi – the top owned defender in the game (31.3%), starts his 15th successive match in all competitions today.

Leicester will be buoyed by City’s defensive record. They recall Riyad Mahrez to the bench after his recent absence following City’s deadline day bid. That leaves Jamie Vardy as perhaps their most likely source of Fantasy returns – he boasts goals in each of his last three Gameweeks.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

So, didn't see the comments but saw Granville's post about some people laying in to the team about Aguero. What craziness is going on?! You're on here for some advice and not to have your decisions made for you. There's always been for and against to have Aguero at his price. He's my favourite player and I still haven't had him since I transferred him out in gameweek 5 and missed him scoring 20 points!!

Nobody could have predicted Leicester would have messed up two clearances tonight pretty much gifted him 2 goals. Didn't see his 4th so can comment.

The guys do a great job and I for one appreciate all the hard work they do. I've certainly got more points this season thanks to the articles and scoutcast.

To be honest, I do not think the people complaining have any right to. These people do not claim to be experts. They are just mulling things over. You need to be capable of making your own decisions, and to be fair I don't see anyone praising the scouts when they follow them like sheep and it works well.

On the flip side, I don't get why Granville was offended. I don't take those people seriously, and I don't think the scouts should either.

Havent actually noticed many complaining about scout ignoring Aguero.
There are plenty of sheep here though who big themselves up for good ranks when the reality is without this website most would be clueless

90% of people are here to have decisions made for them. Have you not seen the pre deadline questions?

Think Granville is overreacting. I havent seen anything except the silly "Lol @ Scoutcast", "lol @ Mark", "lol @ Jay Eggersdorff" etc that comes with being public figures of FPL expertise when they get things wrong. Its not malicious. Maybe a microscopical amount of idiots who are legitimately angry at scoutcast for not force feeding them the correct decision this one time, but those people are best ignored anyway.

And that's kinda how I'm feeling. I think a lot of them are just being playfully annoying, and some of them are legitimately angry that they weren't spoonfed gold all the time. I don't support that, especially because these scouts in now way claim to be experts that you should follow. But I thought Granville's response was stooping to their level with hypotheticals like shutting down the website. They shouldn't take these people seriously, and a reaction like that isn't professional.

None of them own Kun so why would they discuss him as a captain. Scoutcasts last around an hour or so. Isn't time to discuss everything.
Wouldn't actually hurt (if some of these people weren't too lazy) to read the ScoutPicks articles - This week's clearly identified Aguero as a key pick - so much so that the squad went budget elsewhere to get him.

Yea, they really do. ScoutCast is great entertainment and they give helpful info & advice. People are looking for someone to blame when having a bad gameweek // not giving enough credit for them when they get it right with their suggestions. Like you said this website should be a platform to ask for advice. It seems some people come here so that others make their decisions for them.

This place is full nolife trolls who are ruining this great website. Especially when games are going you're better off just not logging in. Based on posts here you'd think average age is around 12. I'd like to have the option to block usernames.

Potential WC: Plan - free hit gw31, semi-throw gw35, Salah, Mcarthur, Hennessey, Lowton, will play that gw for me.

    Old team:
    Pope (Hennessey)
    Alonso Otamendi Fernandez (Dunk Chilwell)
    Salah Sanchez Walcott Sterling (Romeu)
    Aguero Firmino Wilson

    WC Team:

Best Hazard replacement for the next few (own Salah and Sterling already)

    A) Keep Hazard (mun, mci, CPL)
    B) Eriksen (cpl, hud, BOU)
    C) KDB (ars, CHE, stk)

Leaning towards Eriksen and then doing Eriksen to Mane for gw31
