Alex Song is fit for West Ham’s trip to Norwich, Matt Targett is passed fit as Southampton head to the Liberty, whilst Sunderland’s injury list continues to grow ahead of tomorrow’s lunchtime clash with United.
John Stones and Tim Howard remain doubts for Everton’s clash with West Brom tomorrow. Roberto Martinez has revealed that he is hopeful the duo will return to full training before facing late assessments. Mo Besic is still unavailable, though new boy Oumar Niasse is expected to be in the mix as he steps up his fitness levels.
Alex Song is available for West Ham’s trip to Norwich after recovering from a midweek knock sustained in the cup win over Liverpool. Cheikhou Kouyate misses out after being forced off with concussion on Tuesday, whilst Winston Reid and Joey O’Brien are set for hamstring scans – the duo also picked up problems against Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Emmanuel Adebayor will “definitely start” for Palace at home to Watford, Alan Pardew has confirmed. The Eagles boss reckons Dwight Gayle is “hopefully available” after stepping up his fitness in training, whilst Connor Wickham returns from a three-match suspension. Bakary Sako and Yannick Bolasie are expected to return for next week’s FA Cup clash with Tottenham.
Matt Targett and Steven Davis are available for Southampton’s trip to Swansea, though Victor Wanyama misses out – the Kenyan starts the first of a five-match ban this weekend.
Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Arsenal have no new injuries, with the Gunners boss naming the same squad for Sunday’s home match against Leicester.
Mark Hughes is optimistic on the fitness of Jon Walters, who missed Stoke’s loss to Everton through illness. Ryan Shawcross and Geoff Cameron miss out again, though the Potters boss hopes to have the duo back by Gameweek 27.
Younes Kaboul and Duncan Watmore (ankle problems) and Jeremain Lens (hernia) are ruled out of Sunderland’s clash with United. Billy Jones (hip) is a doubt for the visit of United, though Fabio Borini is back in the squad after recovering from illness.
Tony Pulis has confirmed that Gareth McAuley is ruled out of West Brom’s trip to Everton with a hamstring problem. The Baggies boss revealed that Chris Brunt and Jonny Evans are getting closer to a return, whilst Craig Dawson has a chance of making it this weekend.
Ki Sung-Yueng is available for Swansea’s home clash with Southampton – the Korean missed the previous match after being forced off with concussion in the Gameweek 24 draw at West Brom.
Troy Deeney and Valon Behrami are fit enough to start as Watford head to Selhurst Park – the pair were handed sub roles in last week’s loss at Spurs due to fatigue. Centre-half Miguel Britos is a doubt, though, due to a leg injury sustained at the Lane.
Jack Colback and Emmanuel Riviere have trained all week and are included in the Newcastle squad that heads to Stamford Bridge tomorrow.
