Men In Black – Gameweek 16

Our brand new series, plundering the new Referee data soon to be available to our members, continues with an analysis of the Gameweek 16 appointments.

We scan the assignments and attempt to pick out the key pairings, assessing the data to decipher the potential impact of certain whistlers on their respective fixtures and the players in line to either suffer or benefit as a result.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

What does everyone think about morata captain? Don’t trust salah or hazard for some reason

not exactly current affairs are you? he pulled up in training, though has travelled. With shit loads of fixtures ahead, Conte could easily bench him as precautionary measure.

Had to take scans (see tweets)

Besides that, he has played a lot of games, think he will sit this one out, thought he would have been rested midweek, Conte has mentionned before that he will rotate his entire squad

I think it is time Morata get some rest,Hazard was rested.
Playing a lot of 90min games in a row, even if healthy he may be rested.

Looks like that but Mou may put masterclass defending with Jones back and try to hurt them with long balls late in the game.
City cant cover those 3 beasts from getting almost all long balls.

In the Kane vs. Salah vs. Hazard debate, does it make sense to dismiss Hazard due to the fact his ownership is so much lower that a haul should see a rise without captaincy?

And to the 'captain who you think will score the most points brigade', I have no idea who will, I'm just trying to use a process of elimination 🙂

    1. Netley Lucas
      • 8 Years
      6 years, 4 months ago

It's low because he's not been back long as you know and others have been firing. I get your point but it's the quality of the player, his form and his opposition that surely matter most rather than covering ownership risk?

      1. Viper
        • 14 Years
        6 years, 4 months ago

But all players involved in the decision are equally as good vs. Opponents equally as bad so ownership might just be a deciding factor.

Hazard is in great form but Kane hasn't exactly been going through a drought either

        1. Netley Lucas
          • 8 Years

There's something wrong with Spuds though, Wembley, maybe wages, Rose, something's not right. I get the Salah pick, something about Klopp, he just doesn't give me full confidence in capping any pool. Funny how we decide things?

Dunk can't keep scoring OGs, right? I like Zeegelar. He started back to back games within a few weeks and I heard rumours of a rift between Holebas and Silva.

Only because teams come to perform at Wembley. A brace against Dorund and Liverpool tell me that there is no Wembley issue. Spurs have to lift their game compared to WHL and after the APOEL game I think (well maybe a little hope because Kane captain lol) that they will

Sturridge has a pretty good record in the derby if memory serves.

      You could be right

Came off after 70 midweek, just had a rest GW13.

wouldn't go for him personally though!

Is Morata still essential in our sides? I'm not convinced in him as a player and will never captain.

He's the only premium striker who's getting returns consistently.

No I think hazard and a defender is enough coverage

    Iv resisted the Coutinho hype.

    Sane + Mustafi OUT
    Ramsey + Alonso IN

Have Salah and you can't deny Ramseys form and Alonso stats suggest goals are imminent.

    Wish me luck.

Look at Ramsey? Scoring points consistently and rarely benched. Coutinho could get benched at any time and have pool cover.

Sane on 4 yellows. Playing out wide and city not scoring 5/6 a game of late. Plus 2 tough fixtures in 3 games.

Got rid of lukaku when it seemed wrong but proved right. Game of choices.

I just rember Ramsey of the last two seasons. Sanè's performances have still been solid and he is a better player than Ramsey in a stronger team. I get the Ramsey hype, he's been consistently scoring lately but history says it won't continue.

I may also just be convincing myself of keeping Sanè

2FT Sane>coutinho? Its about the price change as well. Sane will go down and coutinho will go up so it might affect me to not make the swap right?
